False. 3 days is no time at all, even trapped in an elevator. Sounds like a story you might find in one of the scandal sheets at the market.

What are the benefits of using an elevated dog bowl?

There are plenty of benefits for using elevated bowls for dogs:
  • For older dogs, eating from an elevated bowl puts less strain on the joints and hip and allow the dogs to use a more proper posture when eating.
  • Elevated bowls are more stable compared to bowls that are on the floor.
  • The dog owner doesn't have to bend down as much to fill up the bowl. This can be really beneficial for older people with back problems.
  • Elevated bowls allow for better digestion because they minimize the amount of air that dogs swallow when they chew their food.
  • Elevated bowls are cleaner compared to bowls that are on the floor. Also, dogs tend to make less mess when drinking out of an elevated bowl compared to ground-level bowls.
  • It is recommended by veterinarians for large and old dogs.

What kinds of dogs should eat from elevated bowls?

It is a good idea to get elevated bowls for larger dogs and dogs with arthritis and back problems. Young dogs don't need elevated bowls; they should have no problem eating from bowls on the ground.

What are elevated dog bowls?

Elevated dog bowls are two bowls in a stand. The bowls can be from different materials (plastic, ceramic). Many vets believe that elevated bowls are healthier for dogs because they prevent gastrointestinal problems and that it is more comfortable to eat from them compared to other bowls.

How do you clean the coffee maker? My wife put vingar in it to clean and ran it through the coffee making process. Now...after running several cups of water through it we still have a vingar taste. ...

Lol! Your wife did the correct thing. (Hate to say it)Vinegar is acidic and eats away at all of the impurities that tap water leaves behind. To clear the vinegar, follow these instructions to a tee. Run one shot glass of bleach...yes bleach...through the unit. Follow this by two or three cycles of plain water. Your coffee will taste better than ever! And get this, bleach kills 99.999 percent of all bacteria known to man! Look it up! Hope this helps!
