I would suggest changing the belt, if you are handy, if you aren't, check with a shop on how much it would cost to replace. Good luck.

Needle broke, replaced it now bobbin thread not picking up nor is belt moving underneath

The needle may not be inserted all the way up the shaft, or you haven't purchased the right needle. Could also be that the needle has been placed in the machine backwards. The long groove Dow the needle shaft must be facing you.

Platinum 950e sewing machine, the needle broke and now won't go up and down at all, and the main spool will not turn. The motor is running when i press the pedal and the bobbin winder spins, but to needle...

More than likely the motor belt jumped off. Remove 2 bottom torx screws from the base of the machine at the back. Then you have about 7 #10 torx screws to remove from the back cover. Then lift up the pressure foot. The trick to getting the back cover off is to get behind the machine, and slap the back cover and pull off at the same time. Sounds rediculous but thats the way it comes off.

I have a Euro-Pro 473 model sewing machine, I?m converting into a Needle Felting Machine (adapter is Around metal with seven needles around it and is suppose to be attached into needle bar). I?ve removed...

If you're having the same problem we did, the attachment is installed too high on the bar. Move it down as far as possible and see if that solves the problem. If it doesn't, check to see whether the machine is belt-driven; did the belt break or slip off?

Brother Innovis 4000 D stopped sewing

These machines are known to freeze up in the needle bar crank, even when only a couple of hours old. If it is less than a year old, a Brother certified service center will fix it under warranty.
