Look at the switch and solenoid assembly at 1 oclock on the carousel. That is what activates to set it going and it then clocks off a ratchet wheel to do two full cycles looking for a selection then stops. If it gets stuck the carousel wont stop.

If anybody can help me please I need to know how to repair the carousel before the CD changer he does not spin thank you

Most of the carousels are driven by a small motor through a gear train, but some are belt driven. You would have to look underneath the carousel to determine what the mechanism is. If it's belt driven, make sure the belt isn't slipping. With the changer unplugged, find the carousel motor, then gently turn it by hand (make sure you are turning it in the correct direction) to check for excess friction, broken gears, jamming by a foreign object, or slipping. If you hit a hard stop while turning the motor DO NOT FORCE IT. Investigate the stop; it's probably your problem. Some changers rotate the motor in one direction to turn the carousel and in the other direction to clamp the CD in the spindle mechanism. If the spindle clamp is hung up, this will prevent the carousel from turning.

MR. CHRISTMAS CAROUSEL WON'T TURN

I realize this post is way old, but wanted to thank LtJim for his description on how to take it apart.

It turns out the reason mine was not spinning is that one of the plastic mechanisms that make the horses go up and down (located under the main piece that comes off with LtJim's directions) had partially broken and that horse would go all the way to the bottom and then the carousel would stop spinning.. There was no way to fix the plastic, but by holding the horse up with zip ties hidden under the top got the thing to work again. Thanks again!

Wurlitzer 2600 Jukebox repeats wrong selection

There are two ratchet brackets under the toothed edge of the carousel called 'back stop pawls'. That's where you problem is. The carousel is stopping then falling backwards too far so the odd selection rather than even selection is where the carousel is stopping.
It is also what is causing the jam (or rather contributing to it).
Turn the carousel one 'click' and wind it backwards against the pawl, and flex an arm up to see which one will go up between the carousel fins. If the left pawl is engaged the left arm shoud be able to rise and vice versa.
All those adjustments are a common problem with a 200 selection machine. It can drive you nuts.

Cd carrousel keeps spinning

This problem is likely caused by either an open fuse or a failed Carousel Index Lamp. The index lamp is located behind the black metal cover on the right front side of the carousel - fits over the teeth. The lamp should be visible under the cover or if you peer sideways from the left front edge of the carousel. Spares are available from us.

This can also be a fuse related problem - if the bubble tubes AND the colour cylinder motors are all dead then first check for open +/-30VDC fuses in the amplifier.

45's records won't turn and prior to that they only played side B

There's a motor under the back of the carousel about 11 oclock. You can see the drive gear if you bend down and look under the toothed base of the carousel. If you press the lever to rotate the carousel you'll be able to see if the motor is turning or not. If it is turning but the carousel isn't moving you could have a stripped nylon gear.

Wurlitzer 1015 OMT Disc spins, then stops....

When the disc is taken from the carousel and put on the player how long does it take for it from the time it is placed onto the player to being returned to the carousel? Also is the cd spinning when its on the player or not spinning at all. The answers to these questions should help in pinpointing the actual problem.
