HI There try adding oil a bit at a time. They will only need minimum amount to lubricate the engine. Firstly put in about a quarter of a litre and check the dip stick after 10 mins.

Tecumseh engines usually recommend SAE 30 oil. Briggs engines allow 5W 30 or 10W 30.

I would take it back to the store and ask for warranty repairs since it is so new. That's ridiculous. If that doesn't work, try Sears Parts on-line or on the phone. They are better than most other manufactures.

I have a Briggs & Stratton 675 series and accidentally put 2-cycle oil in. Realized this as soon as I did it but now I need to drain it and the instructions indicated to warm mower up for 10 minutes...


Yes, u can drain it without warming it up,But i would drian the oil refill it with new oil run it for a minute shut it off drain the oil again so u will get any residue out of the eng......

Where is the carburetor on the Craftsman 675 Series 190cc 22" cut self-propelled lawn mower?


The carburetor would be located BEHIND the air filter housing and air inlet tube. The air filter housing should have a removable (by screw or clip) cover.
