Check that you are installing the needle correctly, that the machine is threaded properly. Use only fresh, good quality thread--no bargain bin or old thread. Be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the top thread. Check that the bobbin is loaded and threaded correctly. Make sure the feed dogs are up and the stitch length is set to at least #2. If you are still having problems, it could need some adjustment.

How do I mount model 4830C to cabinet?

If it could be attached to a table so the machine will flip down and be hidden, it would need some sort of metal loops (hinge pin attachment) on the bottom at the back of the machine. You also would have to have the hardware (bolts, nuts, etc) to attach it.
How to Install Sewing Machine into Cabinet

or, frequently, you will have a sewing table with a separate insert that can be lowered or raised and your sewing machine just sets on that adjustable insert. Then you just raise or lower the dropped insert until the sewing machine surface is level with the table's top surface.

Broken bobbin winder

For $29 at Hancock, Jo Ann's or Wal Mart you can get a thing called a Side Winder that will wind your bobbins without using the winder on your sewing machine. It has the additional advantage that you can wind while sewing. I use it even with machines that will wind bobbins.

My sewing machine doesn't work properly.. after setting everything up it give the first stitch but then it doesn't stitch anymore... and I have what you call a bird-nest under my fabric.. don't know what...

I think that you are not threading it right, try this, totally rethread, now pull on the top thread with the presser foot up, it should pull smoothly, now put the presser foot down, pull top thread again, now it should barely move. This should seat your thread in the tension discs. I would also insert a new needle. (flat side facing the rear of the machine) If, you do not have your manual go to www.singerco.com and down load one for free, plus you can enlarge the diagrams for easy reading. It is not a bad idea to save a copy to you computer, in case you misplace the paper copy. Singer customer service is very helpful, at 1-800-4singer. Good luck, I hope that you can get some happy hours sewing.
