SOURCE: Kenmore fridgerator is leaking water in the bottom 2001

the drain tube above &be hind ceiling has drain cup on older fridge this gets stopped up with gunk and stuff. held on back wall by 2 screws. This is a top freezer Your describing other wise the drain tube is in the freezer and you'd have ice in the floor of the fridge. If your fridge doesn't have it in the top back of the fridge compartment it is entirely in the upper freezer compartment and is still stopped up probably w ice and gunk. Defrost w hair dryer and while you can see the drain pan and hole pour in a cup of water if it goes down your good other wise blow out the drain with compressed air and retry the water. Please rate me accordingly and good luck.

There is a leak somewhere in the refrigerator causing water/ice to accumulate in the bottom of the freezer. Husband says it is not the icemaker itself that is causing the problem.

There may be a vent hole at back of fridge, some fridger like mine have a drain hole to vent moisture out through a pipe to drain on top of rear tray for evaporation.

The refrigerator is collecting water under the veggie drawers. The model is ET18UMXGN0 2.

The fridgerator needs to be defrosted, take everything out of the freezer and refridgerator and unplug it for about 8 hours to allow all the ice to turn into water and then clean out all the water and clean the fridge and make sure it is all dry, now turn it back on and it should be good to go.

Water dipping on the inside of fridge towards back

Hi

Self-defrosting refrigerators dispose of the water generated during the defrost cycle, usually via a tube or channel that directs the water to a pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. From the pan, the water normally evaporates.
If the tube or channel is clogged or obstructed, the water backs up and leaks into the inside of the refrigerator compartment. Then the water builds up at the bottom, inside of the refrigerator. When the water has built up for a time it may spill out of the front of the door opening. To fix this problem, clear the drain tube or channel and allow the defrost water to flow down to the drain pan.
Please do rate this solution as "FixYa" if found useful and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Leaking water inside fridgerator

You need to manually defrost then let sit over night .Pour warm water down the drain hole if does not go down fast than you will need to clean drain tube out with wire start at the rear of the unit and there will be a drain tube going in the drip pan good luck :)
