Set comes on but display white, connector opened

Which phone model are you using? If it's a sliding or flip phone, you need to replace either the 'flex display cable' connecting motherboard to the LCD or the LCD itself. Otherwise if its a chocolate bar kind of phone, you need to replace the LCD. Also do a physical visual check and perhaps use a bit of medicinal spirit to clean on the motherboard where the flex or LCD clips on.

I need a wiring manual for a g31t-lm2 motherboard...

Hello here is the drivers site:

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?

Here is the user guide:

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/guides-and-manuals/default.page?selector=expand

The front panel connector ( F panel) looks like this:

1_29_2013_12_24_07_am.jpg

This is located in the down right corner.

The usb connectors look like this:

1_29_2013_12_40_25_am.jpg

In your another case, there should be connectors for front usb and audio, what it goes for should be printed in on the connector.
Basicly this can not be connected wrong.

Good luck

Cannot get lcd screen to work-it's white seems the graphic flex cord is lose or bad

Hook a spare monitor to the video output to ensure there is no problem with the video card, if okay! the lcd display in the laptop is the issue. If the flex cord is loose reseat it back into the motherboard plugin it should be good and tight to work properly.

Hi, my N70 doesnt switch on anymore,it worked perfectly the night before but this morning it was practically dead,it charges and shows that its charging but when I press the power button nothing...

N73 does not have power switch button unlike other usual nokia phones,it consist of flex connector(together with the antenna case) were two pins connected on the upper part of the main board hitting that flex connector, can easily fix by cleaning the circular interface as well as the membrace when power ON is triggering.

DIY method :

* detach the front cover of the phone
* unscrew 6 screw obviously shown.(use T6 precision screw driver or any tool can possible do.)
* remove the lcd frame
* gently lift up the lcd screen (start from the top) then you will see it's flex connector, release it using even a precision flat screw.then remove it.
* you can see another screw in the middle, release it also.
* release the clips (use precision flat screw) both sides in the middle portion.
* now take the entire module (metal shiled & PCB) start from the top then pull the memory card knob,be sure there is no mmc inserted,it may stuck nor damage the mmc.
* On the back cover, you'll see a square type, which is seems to be the antenna and were the power or rubber switch is connected.release the clips from the top using the flat screw.
* you can see a circular metalobject that taped (membrane)clean it using any rust solution, both interface, you can use scrub or scratch it gently.
* Now assembly the phone and make a test if the power ON is working now.

Otherwise, need to test the 2 line were each contact works well or need to replace that flex connector if broken or damage.

* you may bring the phone to any mobile service shop near you for assistance.

I have one nokia 5200 mobile but following problem are there 1) only seen complete blue colour screen 2)no connectivity with pc by using nokia pc suite i want to upload comlete contacts from phone so...

When LCD or the flex connector is damage,it should be readable by the computer,no matter this two parts is not connected.

No matter what the history is,might be drop on the ground or water damage, before doing software method, try to dismantle the upper panel, possible that the flex connector is shortening because its line is hitting some grounds that's why the phone is not powering.

This is my suggestion,

* Remove the back cover and the battery pack.
* Remove the front cover by release the side clips
* unscrew 4 screws connected on the metal frame of the lcd using a T6 screw driver or any tool that can twist or release the screw.
* remove the LCD connector and the LCD itself.
* gently lift up the top pcb or top boad with the lcd is connected,be careful because the is a flex connector underneath, the release the flex connector.

Now try to put the battery and connect the usb cable and turn the phone on,If there is a response on the computer, that means either flex connector or lcd is the problem.

This is the time that you can copy all important files if the computer recognizes the phone using nokia pc suite.

* If this method does not work, you need to ask assistance to any mobile service shop near you,and tell the if it's possible to recover the data on your phone without flashing your phone firmware.

Hope this solution can help you....

How do i remove and replace my keyboard for satellite a205 laptop

Agree with LaptopRepair. The procedure for Keyboard removal is pretty close.

Wanted to add information on the FFC connector though.

If you have never dealt with a Flat Flex Cable connector, you are going to be in the dark, and could break something.

1) The flat cable from the Keyboard to the motherboard, is a Flat Flex Cable.

2) The connector on the motherboard the FFC connects to, is an FFC connector.

3) The Flat Flex Cable removes FROM the FFC connector.
> Just the flat flex cable, comes out of the connector on the motherboard.

Again, The flat cable by itself comes out of the connector, with no connector on it.

4) The FFC connector on the motherboard, does not come away from the motherboard. It is attached to the motherboard.

The FFC connector on the motherboard does not come apart in two pieces.

It opens to release the flat flex cable.

The FFC connector ONLY opens so far.
(1/8th inch ?) It is a two piece connector, but does Not come apart.

Looking at the FFC connector, you will spot a parting line going across the middle.

The top half of the connector looks like a fat T.
The two tabs on either side at the top of the Top half, make the T head shape.

These two tabs are pushed towards the LCD screen.
Ease one tab up a little, then ease the other tab up.

This opens the connector, and allows the flat flex cable to come out.

Install the flat flex cable from the New Keyboard, in the same direction as the old Keyboard's flat flex cable.

One side of the flat flex cable has exposed copper strips. (Contacts)
The other side does not.

Be sure to install the flat flex cable of the Keyboard in the correct orientation.

Do not rate this information. Just added info.

How do you replace an LCD screen on Nokia E66

Undo 6 screws on back of rear housing, [2 near sim reader, rest on body .] When back pops off , be careful to release Sim flex , as it will tear easily. Disconnect main flex between 2 halves of phone.Remove main board , then undo 2 small screws at the top of phone .This will release the front housing. The LCD JUST FLIPS OFF THE CONNECTOR ON THE FRONT FLEX, be gentle with the handset and removal! . To rebuild , just repeat in reverse, as is quite simple, but BE GENTLE!!

LCD Display problem

From your description it sound like you have a faulty video cable or the video connector on the motherboard is loose.
Reseat the connector and it may solve your problem.
