brushes do not rotate, here a high pitch when i turn it on. brushes move by hand easily

MY BRUSHES ARE NOT ROTATING I CLEANED THE FILTER TURNED IT TO ON POSITION AND STILL WONT WORK ANY ADDITIONAL SOLUTUION S FOR THIS PROBLEM?

In adddition to brushes not rotating leaks during operation.

The brushes will not rotate until the handle is released and the pulled backward, the switch should change from handtools to floor

the brushes are run on a vacuum the switch may no be opening

The brushes are driven by air flow from the main motor. There is a gear assy above the brushes that has a metal gear/bearing that seazes up. I used teflon spray lube to free up the bearing. This requires alot of dis-assembly to access that assy.
