Our Keurig 2.0 did that at the very beginning. After a call to customer service I learned warm water might help. I filed the reservoir about half way full and then heated water in my kettle and began adding it to the reservoir until the message went away. The temperature of the water was 113 degrees. Hope it works for you.

HOW DO YOU PRIME THE KERIG

Remove the water reservoir, then reinstall it to it's normal position. Refill or top off with the recommended bottled or filtered water to the max fill line. This will clear the prime message. If after you do the the above procedure at least two times, the prime message keeps coming back your machine has brewed its last coffee. If you bought it from Costco, I would recommend returning it there. Or If still within the 12 month warranty period, call Keurig.1-866-901-2739. Tell them and they will ship you a replacement.

My digital says to prime the machine

Lift the water reservoir up then reseat it. This will clear the prime message. If it keeps coming back your machine is dead. If in the year warranty call Keurig. They will ship you a replacement.

My coffee pot has an error saying PRIME, and will not work. Could you tell me what the problem is?

On the water reservoir there is a little black disk, a magnet, I think... If that is not against the machine it will display the prime error. Empty the water from the reservoir and tilt it so that the disk is against the machine. Place the reservoir empty back on the machine and fill it with water carefully as not to move the disk. When the water level gets to the correct position, the prime error will go away.

I removed the water reservoir as it was about to draw water to make a cup of coffee (I saw the water level was very low and wanted to quickly add some water). Now my EAM3200 will not draw any water while...

It sounds like the machine is stuck in kind of an air lock. I don't have one of these, but if you read your manual, there should be a way to prime the water lines.
On the following blog, they mentioned calling the customer support number on the machine:

That would be your best bet, it sounds like. They could probably tell you how to prime or reprime the water line.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Water not pumping through, though steamer works and it makes noise.

You need to get the pump "primed" with water going through it.

If the machine is new or has not been used in a long time, the plastic feed tube(s) in the reservoir will be dry. You have to get the water to slowly creep up these tubes until it hits the pump inside, then the water/steam will come out the head and will keep coming out each time you use it until it dries out again.

I've had to re-prime my Via Veneto several times, and each time it seems like I'm doing it wrong and the machine is broken. But follow these steps and you'll get there.

1. Fill the reservoir with water and put the two tubes in it.
2. Turn on the boiler button (left-most of the two narrow ones)
3. Don't put the portafilter on, just leave the head bare.
4. Turn on the pump and let it run. Watch the water level in the plastic tubes. Understand that at this point, the pump is just pumping air, which it is not designed to do efficiently. As it pumps the air it slowly draws water up the tubes. Really slowly.
5. You can speed this up by putting a cup under the steam tube and opening the steam valve. This is while the brewing pump is still on. You will have hot water squirting out of the steam tube. You may see the water moving more quickly up the tubes.
6. The pump may have to run for several minutes. You'll get impatient and scared something is wrong, but just let it run. You'll see the water creep up the tube and go into the unit. Soon afterward pressurized water will start spraying out of the head.

Now, keep it primed for months by keeping water in the reservoir. If you use it only infrequently, run the pump and at least get some water moving every week or so.

I've tried silly things like holding the tubes upside down, trying to get water forced up into them, but in the end, just let the pump do the work and be patient.

Not ready blinking on screen

The water reservoir tank probably isn't seated properly. Try wiggling the tank a bit and if that doesn't do the trick, completely remove the water reservoir and then replace it. Once it's seated properly, it should start drawing water and brew as designed. This seems to be a design flaw with this particular model, so periodic adjusting of the water reservoir may be necessary to ensure it is seated properly if your problem persists. Hope that helps! Best of luck...

Priming problem

Make sure you try to prime right when the machine is turned on, so that there is no boiler pressure making it more difficult to prime.
