With BC1609sts when the message is 'battery low', how do I know whether to change the transmitter battery or the display unit? (If the message followed 'cad trans', that it's the cadence transmitter)

You probably need a new treadmill display screen but one thing you can try is to get a 6 volt power suppply and use the power supply instead of the batteries.

SOURCE: Re: Hahnel Giga T Pro Wireless Remote Control Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. This product seems faulty or something? My transmitter does not go on and I also can't work out where the batteries go besides if I had to open the thing up and check whats inside (which i do not want to do). The strange thing is that when I plug the transmitter directly into the camera it works as a (wired) remote. Weird. I think I should just have paid the extra money and gone with the original Canon intevelometer instead of this two-bit massed produced piece of shyte. Let me know if you figure out how to operate this frustratingly **** product.

I have no transmitter signal from my wwc model ws1600IT 915mhz TX22IT even after changing Batteries in accordance with instruction of setup, tried this several time, this unit previously worked ok.

Be sure to remove all batteries at both ends then reinstall/install batteries at transmitter end, wait for it to initialize and begin sending data then reinstall/install batteries at the receiving end. You should see temperature displayed.

Outdoor Temperature Transmitter not working

Sometimes, you have to remove all the batteries in the transmitter and receiver and wait a few minutes before the next step.

Then you replace transmitter batteries first and within 30 seconds, get the batteries installed in the receiver. This allows the receiver to link up with your transmitter. Both units need to be reset this way. You'll see the temperature and any other information the transmitter provides come up in a few minutes. This works with my La Crosse weather station. Using the reset buttons without removing power will not work. My nieghbour has a weather station from another manufacturer and this is also the only way that his will link up.

I replaced the batteries in both fobs for my 2008 STS. I can unlock the car but when I get in to start it, it says no fobs detected. If I sit in the car pressing the lock button over and over eventually I...

Keyless Entry System Description and Operation

Key Fob Not Detected
When a transmitter authentication is requested, the console passive antenna broadcasts a challenge within the passenger compartment to the transmitter. If the response from the transmitter via radio frequency (RF) is a valid response, the RCDLR determines there is a transmitter within the vehicle. If no response is received, the RCDLR determines that no transmitter is in the vehicle, and NO FOB DETECTED will be displayed on the DIC.
Transmitter authentication occurs during any of the following situation:
• When the vehicle is off and the start button is pressed.
• When the vehicle is off and the brake pedal is pressed (vehicle must be awake)
• When the vehicle is running and any door is opened and then closed.

The first thing to do would be to check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's
DTC B3119, B3120, B3121, B3122, or B3123 is not set.

Important: This condition may be caused by low vehicle battery voltage. If the battery is not sufficiently charged (above 10 volts), the system will have difficulties detecting the fob and the NO FOB DETECTED message will be displayed. Correct the low battery voltage condition to eliminate this condition.
Verify DTC B3119, B3120, B3121, B3122, or B3123 is not set.
? If any of the DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle.
With the vehicle locked, attempt to passively unlock and enter the vehicle by approaching the vehicle with a valid transmitter and pulling the exterior door handle. The door should unlock and open.
? If unable to enter the vehicle passively, refer to Keyless Entry System Inoperative.
Place the transmitter in the console active antenna pocket and attempt to start the vehicle. The vehicle should start.
? If the vehicle does not start, perform the Transmitter Programming procedure.
While placing the keyless entry transmitter in various locations within the vehicle interior, attempt to start the vehicle. The NO FOB DETECTED message should not be displayed on the DIC.
? If the message is displayed, inspect for any sources of RF interference such as cell phone chargers, power supplies, etc. that would interrupt transmitter and antenna communication. If inspection does not reveal any items causing RF interference, contact the customer and question the customer about the conditions or location where the NO FOB DETECTED condition occurs. Discuss any devices that are normally kept in the vehicle, such as a laptop or cell phone charger, which may have been removed when the vehicle was brought in for service. It may be necessary to explain to the customer how RF interference degrades the performance of the system.
Inspect the external RF antenna connection at the RCDLR. First, gently pull on the coax connector at the module. If the coax comes out, then it wasn't seated properly. Remove and carefully inspect the coax connection for bent blades or a bent center pin. Fix coax connection if necessary and re-seat connector until a "click" is heard. Gently pull on the coax connection to make sure it is seated properly.

Key fob batt low can I delete this messagr 2007 saturn aura.

Hello: When you replace the battery in the key fob the message will go away. Put the same battery in and put it in the transmitter the same way the old one came out. when you separate the transmitter to change the battery do not touch any of the electronics in the transmitter as you may destroy the transmitter.

Heart rate writst watch won't work

Here is the manual for your heart rate monitor:
The size of your wrist shouldn't matter, because you can actually mount the monitor to a bike handle, so you don't have to be wearing it at all. It's just acting as a receiver, displaying the info. Are you wearing the transmitter belt, is it positioned correctly, and tight enough? Are you putting water or gel on the backside of the transmitter so that you get good conduction and contact? Is the transmitter belt within 20 inches of the monitor receiver display?
The transmitter battery might be low. If so, the symptom would be that your readings can be erratic. I know you said that you just bought it, but batteries can be low in new products. ..How many times have you bought a new digital watch only to find that it had a low battery...You can replace the battery in the transmitter with a lithium 3v battery #CR2032. Do you see a low battery indicator? If so, the display (receiver) battery also needs replacing and it uses the same battery as the transmitter.
Hope it helps, please let me know.

I have a shure ULX-1m1 transmitter with full battery but will not work. screen comes up green nothing on the display and the battery light is red, what could this be? and how do I fix it

First, sometimes LCD screens have an intesity/angle control and at extreme range of these characters are sometimes not visible. Check you manual to see if your unit might have such a setting.

Also this unit has some control lockouts so make sure it is unlocked so the automatic frequency selection can be made.

Verify the status of the LED in your manual. MANY Shure mics display the LED red when battery is low.

DO NOT trust a battery as being full because it is new.

ALSO DO NOT USE rechargeable batteries in these as the rechargeable battery does NOT produce 9 volts... usually only 7.2 volts (in spite of the labeling) which is insufficient and will give a low battery indication.

I need to know how to turn it on...i don't know if its broken or what...cuz i put in new batteries and it won't trun on

1. Open the battery cover on your TuneCast II Mobile FM Transmitter. Install the included AAA batteries and
replace the battery cover.
2. Plug the 3.5mm connector into your iPod player or other portable music device.
3. The AUTO ON feature will power on the FM Transmitter when the unit detects an input signal. Your FM
Transmitter’s “AUTO ON/OFF” feature uses your audio player’s volume level to automatically power on and
For best results, keep your player set at a medium volume level. NOTE: Setting your device volume very
low may cause the FM Transmitter to turn off, even if the audio player is on.
You can also press and hold
both and buttons simultaneously for two seconds to turn on the unit. To turn off the unit, press
and hold both buttons simultaneously again for two seconds.

Home link system program?

  1. Turn off the engine.
  2. Erase the factory test codes by pressing buttons 1 and 3. Release the buttons when the two green lights begin to flash (about 20 seconds ).
  3. Choose one of the three buttons to train. Position the end of your hand-held transmitter 1-3 inches (5-14 cm) away from the lower left corner of the EVIC display while keeping the display in view.
  4. Simultaneously press and hold both the desired Transmitter button and the hand-held transmitter button. After a short time, the message TRAINING will show on Transmitter display. Do not release the buttons until the message TRAINED appears on the display (this may take as long as 60 seconds ), release both the Transmitter and hand-held transmitter buttons.
  5. Press and hold the just-trained Transmitter button. TRANSMIT should appear on the display. If your device activates when the Transmitter button is depressed and released, programming is complete. To train the other buttons, repeat the process. Be sure to keep your hand-held transmitter in case you need to retrain the universal transmitter. NOTE: If the message TRANSMIT appears on the Transmitter display but your device does not activate, the device may be equipped with a "rolling code" system. Continue with steps six through eight below to complete the programming of a rolling code equipped device (most commonly a garage door opener).
  6. At the garage door opener receiver (motor-head unit) in the garage, locate the "learn" or "smart" button. This can usually be found where the hanging antenna wire is attached to the motor-head unit. Firmly press and release the "learn" or "smart" button. (The name and color of the button may vary by manufacturer.) NOTE: There are 30 seconds in which to initiate the next step.
  7. Return to the vehicle and firmly press, hold for two seconds and release the programmed Transmitter button. Repeat the "press/hold/release" sequence a second time, and, depending on the brand of the garage door opener (or other rolling code equipped device), repeat this sequence a third time to complete the programming process.
  8. Transmitter should now activate your rolling code equipped device. To program the remaining two buttons, simply repeat the process.
