a potentiometer is nothing more than a variable resistor and is normally found as a turn able knob knob on the control panel
it can be a slide switch or if electronic by repeadlly pressing the speed button control up or down
it may be defined by a series of ''''' that are printed from small to larger as in a slope

What's the problem of error 1 on my york t520i treadmill that stopped working, I need your help please.

Error 1: Speed sensor error Turn the power switch off and on again to reset the treadmill. If the treadmill returns to normal operation, you may continue to use the treadmill. If treadmill does not return to normal operation, then call the dealer for advice.
ERROR 1 CODE This is a safety feature that can stop the treadmill from functioning. This error can occur because the computer is not receiving the correct information from the speed sensor located near the motor. As a precaution the computer stops the treadmill until it begins to receive the correct feedback. By performing a few simple checks, the error can be cleared quickly and easily, and the treadmill can be ready for use. The treadmill does not move and displays "ERROR 1" Switch off the treadmill at the mains, and then switch it on again. If "ERROR 1" still shows switch off and push the running mat round (1 cycle) using your feet. Then switch back on. If "ERROR 1" still shows, then UNPLUG from the mains and check all of the wire connections made during the assembly. (SEE BOLD PRINT) UNPLUG If the treadmill still does not move, then please contact the helpdesk. Doing this may reset the program error, and the treadmill will be ready to use. This should reset the sensor, and the treadmill will be ready to use. Once the cables have been checked, turn on the treadmill again. This should eradicate the problem. 1. 2. 3. When assembling, there are several cables that need to be connected. It is very common for these cables to look like they are connected when they are in fact not fully connected. Make sure that these cables are connected as tightly as possible. The connections may have come apart whilst assembling the treadmill. here is a link to your treadmill web site

My treadmill kick our breaker when i hit the go button

Check and make sure that the voltage for the treadmill are the same being put out from the wall socket. Or try using the treadmill on a single circuit with a larger breaker. Your owners Manuel should have that information in it.

Not shore wat side of carb hose gets filter large hose or small hose? The larger hose goes too the pump side and the small hose goes to the other side?

Small gas line goes thru fuel tank and has the in-tank fuel filter on it and connects to the outlet on the BODY of the carburetor. The other larger line goes from the Purge?Primer bulb on top of the carburetor to the larger hole in the fuel tank and is only a fuel return line. The fuel filter holds the small line in the tank and a small nylon connector holds the larger line in the tank or it can just be pushed thru 1/2-3/4" or so and it will stay in place.

What is an Error 22, 23,and 26 on a precor 9.35?

Error 22 indicates that the drive motor (running belt) has been instructed to start, by either manual or program control, and the monitoring system has not received any response from the speed sensing system indicating that the drive motor has started.
Error 23 indicates that the speed sensor signal was lost while the treadmill was in operation
Error 26 this error monitors the speed sensor signal and verifies the the speed sensor signal is appropriate for the requested speed. If the speed sensor signal is incorrect or erratic an Error 26 will be displayed.
Unplug unit and remove motor shroud and try these procedures:
The treadmill utilizes an optical (infrared) speed sensor and the line of sight between the speed sensor and the speed sensor target is obstructed. The speed sensor position relative to the speed sensor target is incorrect. The speed sensor potentiometer adjustment is incorrect (when equipped). The speed sensor target is damaged
Carefully, vacuum out the drive motor compartment with a static safe vacuum cleaner. Pay special attention to the area between the speed sensor and speed sensor target. Adjust the speed sensor position so that the space between the speed sensor and the speed sensor target is 3/16 inch and so that the speed sensor photo eye is aimed at the larger portion of the targets wedge shaped section. On hall effect speed sensors (magnetic sensor) the space between the end of the speed sensor and the flywheel tooth should be 3/16 inch. If the treadmill utilizes a speed sensor potentiometer, locate the speed sensor potentiometer on the lower PCA. Set the speed sensor potentiometer at mid-range. Start the treadmill and increase the speed to 6 mile per hour. Carefully adjust the speed sensor potentiometer to the point where the treadmill is operating the smoothest. Increase the treadmills speed to full speed at repeat the previous adjustment. These two adjustments are typically small and are usually only a matter of fine tuning. . Most speed sensor targets consist of a circular arrangement of alternate black and silver sections. If the speed sensor target is torn or badly scratched the speed sensor may receive an incorrect reading. Replace the speed sensor target.

Heart rate monitor chest band not working with Life Fitness 9500H

This mean that you unit is not equiped with a receiver inside the treadmill. Some models that was an option. Polar is the only brand that works with Lifefitness. You may have a bad upper display board. You can buy a replacement for a small amount of money.
