I am going to write a short discussion because I feel this subject is best handled by a person that knows what they are doing. There are plenty of Youtube videos that shows you how to install a CCTV system. As you didn't mention what type of CCTV camera it is, can this topic become very lengthy. Please look at this tutorial on youtube,
The old systems is not difficult to do it yourself if your technical minded, although the newer systems will require some IT background. I recommend a certified installer to assist you, you can damage the camera if you don't know what your are doing.

is it a PTZ camera or Fix? how many cameras? You need to look at the type of capacity (MBPS) & (PPS) , minimum latency and Jitter your camera manufacturre is recommending. Not all wireless devices offer low latency, Low Jitter, High MBPS and PPS needed for higher end cameras.
