You will need a wiring diagram and a multi-tester (volt meter, etc). Find the diagram for the elements, trace your wires to that switch, and check for voltage coming out of that infinite switch. If you have voltage, then its your element (85% chance its the element anyway). Good Luck.

SOURCE: The inner right front element
inner element burned out. Either burner needs replacing or control switch is bad. Take out burner and see if coil has a break in it. IF not, then switch is bad. yes you can
type in your model number
under the section top
you will find your part number...
when it arrives unplug the unit and remove the screws holding the top down under the froont lip
lif the lid and mark where your wires connect, remove the wires, and the two 1/4 scres holding the burner
switch out the burner, and re plug all your wires
drop the lid and test
