SOURCE: samsung galaxy android unlock..cannot unlock my

Hi, I have a couple of idea for you to try.
1) Log in to your google account on your pc, the same account you registered for your phone

2) After logging in look at the top right corner of your inbox/email page, it would say your google username. Like say if you name is John, and you have a google id thats registered to your galaxy s as , john123@gmail.com. Now this google id on the top right corner of the page would be displayed as john123@googlemail.com

3) Type in the google id, thats visible on the right hand top corner of your page (like john123@googlemail.com) into your galaxy s handset locked page, and type in the password.

TADA AND YOUR ON TO THE NEW SCREEN TELLING YOU TO PUT IN ANOTHER PATTERN.

or theres this one:
Take out the battery, the sim card, and the SD card leave the phone for 2 to 3 hours like that.. Put everything back in and boot up the phone.. This should work.
You could try this instead of waiting 3 hours, just remove battery and press power on switch for 20 seconds but this may not work.

or if you've tried everything, the only other way would be to take it to a Samsung mobile phone shop.
or do a factory reset:
THIS WILL ERASE ALL YOUR DATA THOUGH
Go into recovery mode - vol up & home & power. Once in the menu, select factory reset. It may take you a couple of attempts to get to the recovery mode but it does work, just keep trying.

Regards
Mike

SOURCE: how to unlock my samsung galaxy 5 i forgot my

The Samsung Galaxy S is one of the iPhone 4's biggest competitor in the UK. Most of the networks here carry the Galaxy S but like all subsidized mobile phones, chances are, the one that you got is locked to that specific network. So, how do you unlock the Samsung Galaxy S from Vodafone, O2, Orange, etc? Well, I've used this guide on a Galaxy S locked to T-Mobile USA so I don't really know if it will work for UK users but other users in other parts of the world reported it working on their Galaxy S locked to their carriers so there's no harm in trying (but then, I take no responsibility when you brick your phone so use at your own risk). This procedure will only work on a Samsung Galaxy S not running Android 2.2.
How to unlock
1) Go to Android Marketplace and search for Samsung Galaxy S Unlock Tool. Two apps showed up and I chose to download the one with five star rating (first one).
2) After downloading, I installed the app, went to applications then opened SGS Unlock.
3) Write down the generated unlock code and unfreeze code as well.
4) Shut down your phone, insert a simcard which your phone is not locked to. The phone will automatically ask for an unlock code. Enter the unlock code and press unlock.
5) Viola! You now have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S.

google password
Go to the option of the forgot password it will be delivered to your mail ID provided by at the time of the account opening.

SOURCE: i have a samsung galaxy

The way around this is to factory reset the phone.

1. switch off. Hold volume UP and power button and home button simultaneously. release home button (and press again) while still holding volume up and power button. A boot up screen will pop up. Use volume keys to select (reset and restore) press home button to select.

2.Once reset and the phone starts up again it will still show locked. Get another phone to call your phone. as soon as you swipe answer press back key (arrow key) (you gotta be quick) and the main home screen will come up . press the left menu button and select settings and turn off pattern code then go to menu and factory reset the phone again.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: samsung galaxy s mobile completely

You can do a complete reset if you want and have no other option(this will erase all your data). To do this follow these steps.

  • Turn off your your phone
  • Now hold the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons (when you see the Samsung logo, stop holding it for half a second and then again hold it).
  • Scroll to wipe data/factory reset using the volume buttons. to select it press the home button

    • When that is done go to reboot system and select it.

I forgot my password to get in my phone its a samsung galaxy on5 what do i do?

I had the same problem with my galaxy j7, I forgot the login password to get in to my phone. I tried a hard factory reset to manufacture settings. I had contacts and photos backed up with google account, so it was okay to erase and reset the phone. The login password was gone and the phone started like i had just bought it, but then I ran into another problem. My google user account was still logged in when I reset the phone. Androids and googles Factory Reset Protection was activated and a message said "an unauthorized attempt to factory reset was detected, please login with the original user email and password". I forgot the screensaver password and google account password I was still locked out of my phone. Two options I had then was the local phone repair store (boost mobile was going to charge 40$ to unlock my phone) recommended to try this first. The other option was to reset google account password and login to email from another computer for password verification and wait googles 72 hour FRP lockout to use new password to login. If you have any other questions or cant login email at jtobias1020@gmail.com

Why won't Google let me create a email adress that is on my Samsug phone?

It's so because you already have a google account!!
Instead of creating a new account using the same name, use your already existing account to log in to your new phone.

HOW TO SET UP SAMSUNG GALAXY CENTURA SCH-S738C

If you're starting from a factory reset, or from a new phone. There should be a setup wizard that allows you to input your Google Account, Samsung Account, Twitter etc.

If you're on a second hand phone, transferring users or the like, go into your system settings, there will be a section for Accounts. The menu location changes depending on your version of Android. In 4.2.2 it's a direct tab at the top labelled accounts.

Go into Accounts. Pull all existing accounts. Remove them. Then add your accounts.

After all your accounts are synced. Your Google and Samsung profiles should pull and allow you to customize your software via their respective app stores.
