Spark electrode screws wont come off

use wd-40 or p.b.blaster to loosen but it is very (very) common to have to use a grinder or a roto-zip-saw metal cutting blade top cut-off an electrode bolt. even high-end grills are not using nigh-quality, expensive stainless for an electrode bracket or a screw.

My dacor microwave convection oven won't turn or heat but but the exhaust, time etc. works.

I found the answer on other posts on this website and it saved me $500! I had the same problem with my Dacor Model ECD2278 double oven. After I ran the self cleaning the top oven would not come on and the lower oven ran almost double the temp that was set. To fix: disconnect power to the oven at the circuit breaker. Open the oven door. You'll see the grille/grate/steel cover in front of the door latch mechanism, and it should have about 4 screws holding it in place. Remove the screws then remove the grille cover. On my model the tiny red reset button was on the right side on top of a black plastic round piece which is about 1" in diameter. Press the little button down til it clicks.

I need to get a replacement grate for my 2000 series grill

Try, go to their repair parts catalog and look up Weber and your model number. If they don't have your model number listed, you can do a dimensional search to try and find a grate that will work.

Trying to convert from LP to natural gas on my 36" Dacor grill. Is it possible? It is an 06 model and Dacor has told me that it can't be done, but the manual says it comes equiped to handle LP or...

If Dacor told you it can't be done, don't attempt it. It may have been OK, 5 years ago. But, something may have happened since then (a safety issue), that precludes it now. With that said, I'm sure there others on this site that will tell you it can be done. But, my 15 years experience in the Hearth and Home business, tells me, if the manufacturer says "No", it's not safe to do.

Besides, all you'll gain is convenience of not having to refill the LP tank. But, you'll lose the fast preheating propane provides and hotter flame.

Hope this helped you make the right decision. Happy Grilling!!

I am looking for parts to replace on a dacor obs52ng. Can you direct me to a site that has parts to replace? thank you.

Here's one site; there are others. Do a "Google" search for Dacor OBS52NG parts, and there are a number of sites. Here's the one that I looked at. You will have to call for some prices. Shop around, prices and shipping vary. Another source would be ebay or amazon, once you get your part number from one of the parts sites.

Best regards, --W/D--

My new Dacor rotisserie motor quit working after several minutes.

You will have a difficult time with some parts but if it is the motor then an electric motor repair place can help, it should not be that bad of a repair bill. I am answering this, this way because I am assuming that you rotisserie item is balanced correctly and is not am odd shape that would be difficult to rotate.....or to large to hit the lid or shelves when rotating.

Dacor Oven

Depending on your model it is usually at the top behind the "grill" of the oven that is not working. Take out the screws aournd the oven latch (usually for cleaning) and slide out the grill. The limit switch is either over the latch or to the side. If it popped, just put it back with a screw driver. If that is not the issue, then it it could be a bigger issue.
