My fire tv stick will not work when I put in my email address I follow the direction they ask me to do and the wifi home name will not un lock

you need to factory reset your phone. this website shows you what to do without having to access anything on your phone - the first step is shutting it off. follow these steps and your phone will turn on, the only drawback is it will be like its new, and you'll have to re-download all the apps and stuff. it also has you sign up for gmail, and i suggest that you create a gmail address and write it down so it doesnt happen again :)

You should not need to enter any of that information.

The router will find the internet on it's own, once the ethernet cable is connected and the router is turned on.

Press the reset button at the back of the modem for 20-30 seconds, this resets the router to square 1. Power down, wait 30 seconds, then power back up. You should have internet connection to the router, which can be tested by connecting another ethernet cable from the router to the ethernet connector on your computer.

Reply back what your objective is in getting to the routers setup page.

When adding Contacts to your Outlook Express, add the Display Name and Email address (double check that the email address is accurate) then, press the save button at the bottom of the screen on the right hand side. By pressing the Add button, you are telling the program that you wish to add a second email address for this person (Contact) and this may be what is causing your issue when trying to access contacts. Sounds like you homepage has been hijacked by ask.com you can also try to remove the entries using HIJACK THIS from trendmicro

look for the entry that looks like this.

HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain,Start Page = http://www.ask.com

HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain,Default_Page_URL = http://www.ask.com

Sometimes where you restart your changes will be overwritten so its best to uninstall the ASK toolbar as well.

Your username will probably be the first part of your email address, the part before the '@'.
So, if my email address was 'support@fixya.com', my username would be 'support.'

dont give anyone your ip adress,contact your internet provider to fix problem,if you are using someone elses wifi you will have that problem,use your own

I have a Fire HD 6 and I have no way to figure out how to get it to work with my comcast wireless? can you simpllify it for me?


Make sure your WiFi modem/router is turned on. On your Fire, go to Settings-->WiFi. Turn WiFi on. If it does not start scanning for WiFi networks automatically, tap on Scan. It should find and display the SSID of your home WiFi network. Tap on that SSID. When asked, enter the password. If you enter the correct password, you should see the message 'Obtaining IP address...' and then 'Connected'.

On the home screen. select the icon named SETUP. Select email account and enter email details. For this you must have had created an email address already. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type smtp.yourcompany.com.

Under Logon Information, do the following:

In the User Name box, type your user name provided by your company.

In the Password box, type your password.
Select the Remember password check box

To verify that your account is working, click Test Account Settings.
If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you will be prompted to supply or correct it.
Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.

Nexicom.net email setup on ipad


You have to go into Settings -> Mail, calendar ... and add a new mail account as "Other". Put in your email address anywhere you see user name. Choose the POP type of account - IMAP won't work. Use the following for settings:
  • incoming server: mail.nexicom.net
  • user: your email full address
  • password: your password
  • outgoing server: outgoing.nexicom.net
  • user: your full email address
  • password: your password
Tap "Next" and it will likely fail and ask if you want to connect without SSL. Tap "Yes" and you should get all green checkmarks and mail should now work. :v)

Click on the forgot password link on the home page and follow the directions the website provides:
  1. type your email address
  2. click reset password
  3. facebook will send you an email with a link
  4. follow that link.
  5. you will be asked for your email address and to type a new password for yourself
