Basically, you cannot enlarge the scan mode. it captures the object right as it is placed in the scanning area. However, some scanning software bundled with scanner hardwares comes with the zoom utility. It is operated as follows:

Open your scanner software first and let it initialize.
1. Preview Scan first.
2. From the Preview area, you can press "+" or "-" to zoom.
3. Select the zoomed portion where you want to scan.
4. You're done!

Regards!

I have samsung 3201 g printer in which balank sapaces are left on the left side of the sanned pages and sone enlarged letters also appear at times

You do not have a question?
You can scan to an image format or to a pdf. You can also scan to an Optical Character Recognition or OCR. In this last mode, the software that scans tries to recognize the characters (text) itself or sends it to the OCR module (could be another program). The latter recognizes as much as it can and that may involve errors. That is why you may have blank spaces and strange characters (big or small).

How can I scan a document, enlarge the print and send it as an attachment to an email?

Generally, when you scan a document, it is a photo of the item. You can use a photo editor to enlarge then save the enlargement, once done, file, send to, email recipient, this should attach the scan as an attachment

Printing an enlarged version of a scanned photo

The best way is to use software like Corel PhotoPaint and RESAMPLE the pix to the sze you want. YOu typically will get better resolution.

You could also try selecting the "Fit To Page" setting of the printer window before you tell it to print.
