I want to do a factory reset on my sumsung ser-6500

No way. You will have a very big job to set it up again. If you don't have dealer training, you will not understand many of the functions, memory allocation etc. It is a big job. It is much quicker just to edit the programming to suit your business and you are away.If you need a programming manual, there is one here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Samsung3.php

We have a Casio CE-6100 which has been in storage. Just tried to use it again and we are getting LLLLLLLLLL and when you try and press any buttons you get an E04?

You have left it too long (internal rechargeable battery lasts 1 to 2 months). It has now lost all programming. It will need a RAM clear, MAC code and full reprogramming. You will need the special CE-6100 dealer manual. If you don't have one, C-tech collective have one here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TK-6000_TK-6500_TK-7000_TK-7500_TK-T500_CE-6000_etc_dealer_manual.htmlThey can be difficult to understand, but C-tech backs up the manuals he sells, so if you buy it from him, just email him afterwards and he will guide you through the manual for setting up. Make sure you leave the register plugged in for 24hrs to re-charge the battery before programming.

How to Reset a Sharp er-a320 Cash Register

You will need the service key to try the service reset. You likely don't have one of these, as they don't come with the machine, but licensed service technicians will have them.

The easiest thing may be to speak to a local cash register company or contact Sharp directly to locate a local licensed technician.

Problems with registering

IF your phones have the option to recognize caller ID and disable the ring for those not registered, this MIGHT be the problem.

If this is the case, turn off the caller ID blocker as you have not registered anyone to let the calls through.

Alright, if I understand you...You possibly lost the original operating system disc for your HP Pavilion, and your daughter used a Windows XP restore disc, and now it is asking you to register the software?

AND you also lost the set-up software for your Internet provider?
