Error code ch 61

try cleaning the outdoor unit with a hose pipe. the err code is caused by high pressure on the outdoor unit. please also check if the fan outside runs when the compressor is on, if not the fault is probably caused by the fan or fan capacitor being faulty.hope this is helpful.

Pumpdown vrv

You must locate the pipes on the outdoor unit and remove the caps. With the unit in cooling mode and operating shut the liquid line valve. (This is the smaller of the 2 pipes) allow unit to continue running for a few minutes then close the suction line valve ( the larger pipe) Turn unit off, the unit should now be pumped down ie all the gas is now stored in the outdoor unit. You should now be able to disconnect the pipe work from the outdoor unit. If the pipe work is to be disconnected and reconnected you must use a vacuum pump to remove any air before opening the valves otherwise you will have trouble with the unit

I need to know how to set this timer for a large swimming pool, and how long I need it to run, to keep it clean. I believe it is about 35,000 gals., in-ground pool.

You have Intermatic mechanical timer connected to swimming pool pump/filter.
Open following link to read about setting timer:
Lift and rotate dial until current time is lined up with stationary pointer.
Put on-off trippers on outer edge of dial.
Timer comes with 2 sets of trippers, and you can order replaceable trippers. Up to 12 sets of trippers can be added to dial for a total of 12 ON and 12 OFF events each 24-hour period.
For 35000 gallon, pump should run at least 6 hours each 24-hour period. During freezing weather, if pipes are above ground, you can remove trippers from dial, set override lever to ON position, and run pump 24-hours to prevent frozen pipes.

Wansa split a\c outdoor unit both pipe size

It depends on the make model of your unit , the capacity of the unit. It will be best to check the pipe sizes that are on the outdoor unit and the indoor unit that needs to be connected.
The copper pipes can then be decided after checking the length of your fitment.

Our air conditioner has been switched off for some months. Last week we had a power outage. When I switch the unit on now it runs for a short time then P8 along with two zeros flashes on the control unit....

P8 due to outdoor pipe temp high. Due to condenser blocked. But you said it's cleaned. Check speed of fan rpm. After short time fan may rotates slowly. Please replace fan capacitor in out door unit.

Eo error code indoor unit runs 2-3 seconds then gives eo error code problem started when mr chipmunk chewed mr slims 12 volt wire connecting to out door unit and shorted it . Outdoor unit has bad control...

You need a professional here. Once this has been repaired, I would suggest running the wiring to the outdoor unit inside some sort of piping to protect it.

Unit just keeps running and does not cool, we had it checked

While running, feel the bigger pipe outside, under the black insulation. If it is cold to the touch and if condensation is building up on it, that is a good indicator that it is properly charged. If it is warm, and you can hear the compressor running (humming noise while outdoor fan is running), that is a good sign that the unit is undercharged. The only way the unit is under charged is there is a leak somewhere. Do not let anyone tell you that the refrigerant needs to be swapped, or has gone bad, or just needs to be "topped off". The system should be perfectly sealed, and without leaks. First, I would check to see if the outdoor unit is running with the indoor unit. Then I would check the big pipe to see if it is cold. Hope this helps.

Heat/ac pump

- If it is a high wall unit yep under charge refrigerant is one of the cause.
- Out of range thermistor is also can also be the cause of tripping outdoor unit with matching blinking light same as low refrigerant.
- Dirty indoor and outdoor can also be the cause
- If your indoor and outdoor is clean start the unit in cool mode and monitor the outdoor pipes. If your suction pipe is icing or dry then your unit is under charge, but if your suction is cold and sweating then the system is ok and sure that the thermistor sensor is defective.
