Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I removed the cover & cassette door to try to analyze the problem. As previously mentioned, when the unit is powered on, there is a motor that runs constantly. I poked my finger into the mechanism to find that there is a rubber wheel that is rotating and I can freely rotate the left capstan wheel. It appears as if there was a belt (?) at one time -- however I can find no evidence as nothing seems loose or falls out when the unit is turned over and gently shaken. If there is a belt issue a p/n & source would be greatly appreciated!
Next time please specify your problem rather than just sayng same problem it might help get you more advice
as for the belt use a small elastic same as belt or get a plyable ruber o ring from auto parts store
ruber band is best as it wil slip less and they are cheeper than origal\nal belt and easier to find
