Question about Dogs

3 Answers

Please help me, I am about to have my two Labs (two females 3 years old) put down because. of the damage they cause by digging holes. How must I treat that behavior to stop the digging? Please help

I am 66 years old, not very mobile. I have a big yard. As it is I must separate my two Jack Russels and one payment special from them as they fight and have already killed one other of my dogs.

If you give them toys to chew and keep themselves entertained, they will be happy. Don't be selfish and have them re-homed or put to sleep.

Please, do not have these dogs "put down" I'm not even trying to be all animal rights person... But come on. That's a bit harsh. They are just being DOGS! Dogs someone else would love. And no hard feelings, if anything props to you for trying to get rid of them. If you have Facebook, post it on there with a pic maybe, & let people know how serious you are about getting rid of them ASAP. Oftentimes, on facebook, if you search for your towns name and "garage sale" you can get rid of almost anything on there & fairly quick. Check out the other options first please.

Husqvarna 235 Chainsaw has some very deep gouges in the piston and cylinder wall. Should I replace the piston and cylinder or will they break too?

most cyl gouges on two stroke engines are caused by improper gas/oil mix in the fuel ratio , some other causes are in order of there occurance are:

(1) wrong gas/oil mix used

(2) air cleaner missing /holes in allowing dirt to enter engine

(3) piston sleeve moved due to overheating (see #1 for cause)

(4) worn down piston rings allow dirt to be caught in them

as for worth the repair : that's 4 tech to decide parts cost + labor to determine weather its worth it . plus general appearance too counts !! ive got a 30 year old stil that runs like it was new !!starts 1st pull everytime and I just rebuilt it top to bottom !! I luv it !! its defiantly worth it !!!

What are digging bars useful for?

I find my digging bar really useful for digging holes in the ground when i want to plant a new tree or shrub, but you can also use them for putting barbecue stands in etc

Can i cut my yucca trees down and plant them elswhere in the back yard

Yes you can, just don't pull them out of the ground, dig around them and deep enough to keep most of the roots intact. Dig the holes where you want to replant them first before digging the yuccas out!!! Once you have your plant dug out replant it in the new hole as soon as possible, use some good potting soil to fill around it and water it.. Yuccas are very tough plants so you should be OK.

New alternator puts out 11.7 volts. Changed it for another which is also putting out 11.7 volts. Changed double female connector; no help.

First, make sure that the alternator is properly grounded.
Second, with what are you measuring it? I have a couple of cheap ($10-$30) Chinese-made digital voltmeters around my garage that I know for a fact don't measure DC voltage accurately. They tell me a battery has 11 volts, and I dig out my trusty 40-year-old analog voltmeter with a cracked face and it accurately reports 12.6 volts as it should. Also, the digital meters also drift like crazy when I try to measure resistance with them.
I don't know why, but it seems that you cannot buy a reliable voltmeter for less than $125 any more.

My bread machine's shaft to put the paddle on slips down through the hole and now it has begun leaking out of the said hole. Is there any way to fix this or do I need to buy a new bread pan?

If your machine is under 3 years old it should be covered by the Cuisinart warranty. If so I recommend you call them at 1-800-726-0190.

If it's over 3 years old rather than trying to repair it I would just get a new pan
Here is a site that has them:

If you like this solution please give me a vote/rating/testimonial etc....thanks!

Everything is unplugged, I just need a wiring schematic to plug everything back in

Does the motherboard have a "purple" socket?
Does your keyboard have a "purple" end?
If so, join the male to the female,
rotating the male until the stiff pins line-up with the holes.

Does the motherboard have a "green" socket?
Does your mouse have a "green" end?
If so, join the male to the female.

The end on the monitor's video-cable has 3 rows of pins;
there's only one place on the computer with 3 rows of holes.
Notice that the sides of the male are tapered,
so that it only fits ONE way into the female.

Similarly, the female end on the power-cord is tapered,
so that it only fits ONE way into the back of the computer.
Note where it connects -- there may be a "rocker" switch,
with a '1' and a '0' on the ends of the rocker.
Press the '0' end down before you reconnect everything.
Press the '1' end down after everything has been reconnected.

Do your PC speakers have a green tip?
If so, then connect the male from the speakers to the green female socket.

Broken sayno part

Hi wingshooter,

Your son is right. the 2 screw of the male should be fasten
to the hole of the female dvi. replacing the whole part
need careful de-soldering.

However, if the shield is still there and only the hole where
to screw in the male end of the cable, you can get from
old computer discarded around. you only have to remove
the two hex screw and replace it into your DVI female.
Observe that the head of these screws are hex, six corners,
and the hole is threaded. that threaded hole is where to screw in
the screw attached to your male DVI socke

Good luck,

My Nomad zen xtra 40gb is stock !!!

It sounds like the hard drive may be damaged. Have you tried to put it in recovery mode?

Put a paperclip in the reset hole while holding down the play button until you see the screen go to recovery mode. Then try the format option; this will erase all your files but it will tell you if you need a new hard drive.
