Question about Numark PT01 Turntable
The ttUSB turntable works fine, I can hear the music while recording, and everything works fine, including "step 5: export to iTunes" -- the green bar moves to the end, and I am asked if I want to record more or not.
But -- the files does simply not show up in iTunes. And does not seem to be anywhere in the computer.
Using Mac OS 10.4.11 and EX Audio Converter 3.1 (0).
Any suggestions would be welcome. The vinyls are waiting :)
I've had exactly the same problem, and so far no resolution from Ion. A small bit of good news: the .wav files are on the hard drive, although without any track info. At least on Vista, they are in username/AppData/Local/Temp. The files are name Temp0, Temp1, Temp 2, ...
You can use iTunes to add these files (File/add file) and then convert them to .mp3s, or whatever format you prefer. Or you could convert them first using the tool of your choice, such as Audiograbber.
This is inconvenient, but a lot better than re-ripping the vinyl after EZVinyl hangs.

I have just come through the real frustrations of having EZ Converter seemingly not working as it did before I updated to the latest version of iTunes and EZ as well as updating my iMac to OS X Mavericks. I have an iTunes collection of nearly 16,000 tracks and have read about the issues involved in trying to back this up if you try to go back to an earlier version of iTunes plus the other problems which might occur with the operating system so it would require to be backed up, apparently another long, long and risky process. I have struggled to find an answer without all the backing up. Here is what I have come up with. I may sound a bit longwinded but I have beens surprised at how quickly, after a few times, I can export a vinyl album into iTunes. I am using a basic ION deck. Here is my solution. Hope it helps.
Open EZ Converter
Using EZ record one side of an album with automatic track split
Select Next in EZ and go to Step 4;Tag your tracks
Just type in the artist and album names (not even sure if this is necessary), leave the track names empty
Select Next in EZ to export the tracks to iTunes. Looking at the green track exporting line you may appear to have exported an "extra" track. Don't know why this happens. If it appears the extra track, always the last one, lasts only a few seconds and can be discarded later.
When recording is complete the EZ dialogue box appears asking if you want to make another recording. Select No and close the dialogue box and then select Yes when asked if you want to quit EZ.
Go into iTunes and select "All artists' Scroll down till you find the exported tracks which will appear as "Unknown artist" so should be with the "U" artists in your library. Each exported track appears like a separate album and track . The album and track have the format e.g. EZACTmpFile.1
Now take each "Unknown Artist" in turn. Select/highlight the track e.g. EZACTmpFile.1.
Go to the iTunes menu bar and select File and then 'Get info'.
The info box for EZACTmpFile.1 opens. Select "info" from the options. The info box opens with the file name EZACTmpFile.1 highlighted in the 'Name' box. Delete this name and type in the name of the album track. Now complete the Artist/Album artist /Album boxes (and date if you want it. (Date has to be entered for only one track on an album). Click OK and you should have the album and the first track listed in the correct place in your iTunes library.
Repeat the process for all the "Unknown Artists" you have i.e. one for each track on the album you have exported. Drag any few seconds long "extra" track into the trash at this stage.
This sounds quite a long process but after a few tries it becomes quite mechanical and does not take long to export a full vinyl album.
I am relieved it works and can now get on with completing the export of my vinyl albums into iTunes.
Hope this is helpful and works for you.

Had the same problem, but I finally found a solution.
First make sure iTunes can be opened after installation, even if it needs an Ok because it is in the compatibility modus. May be necessary to clean your reigistry on the PC first (was my experience)
When recordings are to be exported from EZ Converter in step 5 to iTunes, you may not see the window that says that iTunes is in the compatibility modus, because it is hidden behind the EZ Converter window. Move the upper window so that you can click OK for opening iTunes. Preferably, iTunes must be opened before you start exporting.

Ok, I'm on a PC with iTunes. I used Audacity to convert my EZ Conversion .wav tracks that I just imported to MP3, You load the .wav files in Audacity, then Export them as MP3, add the track data, names and such, and then did a simple Add Folder in iTunes. THAT finally worked - NOTHING else has even remotely worked with iTunes, NOTHING else will import a .wav from EZ Converter into iTunes that I have tried. I have tried every solution posted and something always doesn't follow along the way the user has explained. Try Audacity, Export and then load into iTunes!

Uugh. I recorded 3 full albums yesterday now today it won't capture anything. Same apparent issue. Sound comes through. Input on Mac is USB (and shows volume bars). iTunes open before I record. Still, I get super quick 'green bars' as it 'saves' and then in iTunes, it says time is "not available" ... nothing recorded.

I don't know if I am just lucky, but I am using Mac Snow Leopard, ION TTUSB05 and EZ Audio Converter 3 and everything is working perfectly.
