Modern refrigerators periodically go through a defrost cycle, where any ice or frost that has formed in the freezer is melted and it drains to the bottom of the freezer. It then passes through a plastic tube and into a catch pan; under the refrigerator.

My guess is there is a problem with this pan, either missing, out-of place or cracked; allowing the condensate to drain directly onto the floor.

Normally you access this pan for annual cleaning by removing a small grill at the front- bottom by pulling straight off and the pan is visible right inside this area.

The defrost water drain tube may be clogged with "gunk". You can confirm this by inspecting the evaporation pan under the cabinet. If it is dry, the cabinet isn't draining. I have found the evaporation pan (usually flimsy plastic) cracked, allowing water to leak onto the floor.

I( find a puddle of water on floor at front left hand corner on freezer side..I took the freezer drawer out and found ice build up under it ,could this cause my problem.. this happened about every 24 hours...

The problem with your refrigertor is that the defrost drain is plugged up. After you get the ice buildup out of the freezer section you will have to locate the drain system. It is in the back of the freezer at the very bottom. It needs to be cleaned out. Hope this at least leads you in the right direction.

Why does my WC331DZD leak water onto floor? Inside both top and bottom zones are dry.

All refrigertors make condensate on the cooling coils inside. There is a hose that runs down to the compressor inside the back cover. The water is supposed to drain into a pan under the compressor where it will evaporate from the heat of the compressor. The hose must have gotten displaced. Take the back off and check to see that the water is going into the pan. Also the pan itself may be cracked. If that is the case, use epoxy glue to repair the crack.

Every 5-7 days the defrost water pan overflows. This morning I heard it filling up for 5 minutes or so.

That sould not happen, the condener fan should blow enough air over the pan to take of the waterl. Make sure your coils under your refrigertor are clean. You heard it filling? The only thing fills is the ice maker . I do not have much information. Is this a top mount, freezer on the top or a side by side
