My father is NRI and he has saving in fd in banks. Bank is deducting tds for income tax on it, is ti correct?

The interest earned on the fixed deposits is considered as income and bank is required to deduct tds on it. If ur father's total income is less than exemption limit then he can submit form 15h and tds will not be cut. See for more details on how to avoid tds

My RO light has changed from red to green. What does that mean? Red was the normal color.

Green is the color it should be when producing GOOD (low TDS) water. A constant Red light indicates the TDS is high (relative to what the normal TDS rejection is on your water supply) and the membrane needs to be replaced. Frequently the TDS light will be RED when initially drawing water at the RO faucet because of a spike of TDS coming through membrane from static water in line.
I suggest taking a sample of pretreated water and RO water to a dealer for a TDS test to see if the Membrane needs replacing.

Stops will not spin had censor replace still will not spin.

Is the wash tub banging around in Spin Cycle with a wash load then failing with a dC or UC unballance error code?

If so the TDS is working as designed. Try a Spin Only cycle with no clothes in the wash basket. If it completes then the issue is most likely a clutch malfunction of your FAV6800A or FAV9800A machine. See this post Clutch Fix

Did you replace the TDS sensor or did a repair person? If it was a repair person did they try a Wet Load Spin Cycle after the TDS replacement?

If a repair person was called and the TDS replaced what troubleshooting steps did they take to warrant changing out the TDS? I would ask if the range of montion check of the TDS was checked for properation signaling action to the Control Board in Service Mode.

How do you know if you need to replace the RO membrane filter in the culligan good water machine

A TDS (total dissolved solids)meter is needed to test the Reverse Osmosis water and compare it to the feed water to determine how much TDS is being removed. Reverse osmosis membranes are designed to remove 80-95% of the TDS in your water supply.

For example: If your water has 500ppm of TDS the minimum TDS removal should be 400ppm leaving 100ppm. If the TDS from the Reverse Osmosis System drops to these levels it is time to change the Membrane.
Typically an RO system will consistently remove 90+% of TDS for many years. The normal lifespan for a membrane can be anywhere from 3-10 years. It all depends on the TDS of your water and your water usage. The higher the TDS the more frequently the membrane needs replacing. The other filters should be replaced every 6 months to keep the quality up and protect the membrane.
A TDS of 1000ppm compared to 100ppm is much more difficult remove to acceptable levels. I like to compare 1000TDS to taking muddy water, forcing it through a filter and getting drinking water. Where 100TDS may be more like a clear glass of water. Consequently a reverse osmosis system on high TDS will be less efficient, less gallons produced and filters will need to be changed more frequently to keep the quality and quantity up.

Maytag Neptune FAV6800AWW UC Error, TDS & probable clutch failure

You’re a owner/DIY’er type I enjoy working with I'm a technicial owner also not a repair person. Warning my post are long but with no BS or WAG's.

Good job troubleshooting except for the external 1.5VDC battery. I understand what you tried to do The TDS takes +12VDC into it and signals +3.0VDC to 0.0VDC for the full range of motion of the TDS and as you are aware approximately +1.5VDC for center position. So the Control Board sees analog DC swings from the TDS not a digital 1 or a 0.

Was your washer banging around during the start of a Spin Cycle of a wash Cycle or a Spin Only Cycle causing the original dC/uC unbalance errors? If not the TDS may have been bad from the get go. You will have to explain to me how you clip leaded in that 1.5VDC cell I’m curious. Keep in mind the +12.0VDC power supply on the Control board is referenced to the control board not machine Chassis ground. Here is a pic of me measuring +12.0VDC indicating that the lid latch is closed. I pick up Control Board Common from the lead on the cap I show on the board.

OK knowing that is this how you measured the +2.7VDC referenced to Control Board Common and Conn P3 Pin 11 the TDS Sensor input to the Control Board? Some Pics to help.

Also Check for corrosion at the 3 pin plug of the TDS.

You are performing your measurements at Conn P3 pin 11 TDS input and Control Board Common correct?

Let me know what you find. This BS board has message limits so I will post on Clutch issue in the next comment.....Rich

2. Toner was added prior to adding developer and performing the TDS adjustment. Developer must be added FIRST at new machine set-up so that toner does not fall on the uncovered TDS sensor.
Run 47 mode, output code 51 until the code does not reoccur (may take 5 to 10 attempts) OR open the developer unit and clean the excess toner from the area of the TDS sensor. Then tilt the developer unit to allow fresh developer into this area.

3. Poor connection at CN95. The toner density sensor (TDS) is abnormal (0.2 V DC or lower). Reconnect CN95 (located under the front of the developer unit).

4. TDS failure. If version 16.0 is installed, P27 is displayed when the TDS is disconnected or fails. Check for proper connection prior to replacing the TDS.

Error code P27

P26 or P27 at power up or during copier operation.
1. Open connection from the TDS sensor to the main CB or lack of developer. The TDS output is abnormal (0.2V DC or lower).
Verify that the sensor output is above 0.2V DC by monitoring CN6-A9 on the main CB while running the main motor in diagnostics (47 mode, output code 40).
Repair any poor connections to the TDS sensor and supply developer if necessary.
2. Code occurs after resetting the PM counter and P26 occurs if machine is powered OFF/ON, because the L-detect (TDS) adjustment was not performed
