Keys locked in car. how do I open trunk without keys
Entering the trunk without a key is not possible without damage to the trunk lid, car body or lock mechanism (or combination of some or all of the above). If it were possible, trunks would be entered all the time.
If your car door key is visible from outside the car, a locksmith can make a new key on the spot just by looking at it through the window. You may have to pay a fair amount of money for this service however. Call a local locksmith to find out how much first.
Many local police departments and Triple A auto club can perform lock out for residents free of charge, but some will not for certain model cars as they incorporate special hardware that is designed to fail if tampered with. So, if the they balk at this for your car - you may need to check with a locksmith.
Of course, breaking a window will get you in, too. Check with an auto glass company to find out which will be the cheapest to replace on your car.
I hope this helps & good luck!
