If tube is dead it will turn on just wont have a picture but will have sound
sounds like you blew a fuse inside the unit
open rear cover and look on the left hand side wile looking at it from the rear
REMEMBER THERE IS HIGH VOLTAGE INSIDE A TV
ALLWAYS WEAR RUBBER GLOVES LIKE FOR WASHING DISHES
this will limit the shock if any and posibly save your **** from a trip to the morgue the fuse is 1 inch long and round usualy glass and probably blowen if not then it's a reley or a board problem if it aint the fuse then it's proably time to buy a new tv
they are cheep on craigs list if all else fails

You have to program the remote to work with your specific model tv. If it still doesnt work after that call your cable provider and ask them for another remote.

Panasonic CT32SF wont turn on

Dont know spec of this model but if it has a CRT (glass tube) display rather than a LCD one, clicking at switch on is idicative of a power supply overload which, 99 times out of a hundred on a CRT telly is down to a fault in the power supply itself or the line output stage (the bit that generates the very high voltages in CRT tellys and also makes the picture scan left to right).
In short, not a DIY fix - take it to a repair shop.

RCA Colortrak Stereo Monitor won't play DVD/Nintendo

The way you describe having your TV/DVD connected you wont see the picture in the regular channel line-up.
You will have to tell the TV to to switch to the video input. This is usually done by navigating the menu to the "input" and selecting video 1, video 2 etc
Failing that try changing to channel 00 ( just type 00 in remote)
Some sets will allow you to type in 02 and then hit the channel down button on the remote.

If you have the user manual it will give you the exact steps you need to take.

This fault can be caused by low secondary supply voltages often caused by the value of capacitors becoming low and requiring replacements but you will have to have a technician.

SET UP VIERA LINK PANASONIC PT960

Can you explain a bit more please. What exactly is the problem? Are you getting any picture or audio through to the TV? Are you getting any picture or audio through to the home theatre? Have you got the home theatre setup via HDMI? Have you connected the audio from the cable to the home theatre via optical or phono? What model is your LG LCD HDTV?
I already have the manual in front of me for your home theatre system. If you can give me some more information I can help you out.
Thanks.

Picture tube doesn't turn off

The power relay driver or the relay itself is bad. Its sticking closed so the voltage is there for the power supply but the micro has turned off the tuner.
