I have a third gen acura tl and I need to find out with fuse controls my speedometer, any help?

the fsm covers that
as does
why not post the SYMPTOMS, then say , what can cause this and what tests can i do to find it.
this is called DIAGNOSTICs, all else is guessing.

if that costs too much , buy a DMM meter and use ohms scale
to test every fuse in the car. a $10 meter. at walfart works.

in most cars the same fuse that powers the speedo , powers them all in the cluster.
so?>?? is the speedo dead, stuck, jerking, or what.
and what year car, dont tell me gen, tell me the YEAR>
cars vary by year, engine and country.

I'VE got a coleman powermate 5500, i've got no output from the plugs. i've tried the circuit breakers. is there a fuse somewhere?

There is no fuse. Most common problems are loose connector from panel to gen set, worn brushes, faulty rectifier board or needs to be spiked (more serious reasons but lets not go there). Brushes and panel easy to check, remove cover to gen. and look at brushes for good contact to com. rings. Remove rectifier board from mount and look at capacitor for leaks or swelling. Replace as needed. Parts are available at jackssmallengine. com There are many ways to spike gen. as seen when you google the subject, however I just use a one amp 12v battery charger (or any small dc power supply 1/2 amp to 1 amp) and very quickly/split second contact brush connector while engine is running. Mind polarity, you must know which brush is positive. Usually on coleman the brush closest to bearing is positive. Spiking works immediately, if no joy, more serious problems exist. Dont worry, you cant break anything doing this, remember it is already broken. Post again if you have other question. Good luck

Digital Inverter Generator XG-SF3600 running but no current

i have the same problem. I have AC from the windings but nothing leaving the inverter module..Its a sealed unit. There is virtually no parts back up service & if you can track down parts, they are quoting from $ 400 to $ 700 for replacement..If you expect this gen set to last like a honda or yamaha your mistaken..Dont buy chinese unless your short of folding stuff or you only use your gen set occasionally & for those that have had no trouble with theirs, its only a matter of time. trust me, they are a disposable item..
