Make sure the paper tray is set for the paper size being used. Sounds like a timing jam.
SOURCE: MISFEED INDICATOR BLINKING
Hi husk77,
MISFEED REMOVAL
When a misfeed occurs, the error indicator blinks, "CLEAR PAPER JAM" appears in the display, and the machine stops operating. If a misfeed occurs when using the RSPF, "RETURN X ORIGINAL(S) START TO RESUME" will appear in the display. ("X" indicates the number of pages to be returned.). This indicates the number of the originals that must be returned to the document feeder tray after a misfeed. Return the required number of originals. This number will be cleared when copying is resumed or the [CLEAR] key ( c ) is pressed. If an original misfeed occurs in theRSPF, the machine will stop and the error indicator will blink. To remove a misfeed from the RSPF, see "D: Misfeed in the RSPF" (p.83).

If you are a technical person you may want to remove the tray from the machine (pull all the way out, tilt upwards, and pull.) to clean the rollers. Once the trays are removed you will see a set of three rollers for each tray. They can be removed and cleaned or cleaned directly on the machine. They may have build up dust on them preventing feed. Reinstall the trays the same way they came out but in reverse steps.
Then:
1. Pull offending tray all the way out and remove paper.
2. Unlock the side guides and make sure they move freely
3. Set about 100 sheets of NEW paper for now and adjust the side guides and the end fence. The end fence must be against the paper (touching) and the side guides must NOT be too tight agains the paper as this will prevent the tray from lifting.
4. Make sure the paper size dial is set to the paper SIZE and ORIENTATION.
5. Close tray and test.
Let us know what happens. In the worst case it could be a Magnetic clutch malfunction

This jam problems are always very difficult to solve without seeing the machine!
Because i need to see the jam location or take a report to see where the paper jams.
you say that it is on the Point C, but that just helps a little.
I can tell you that you have a problem in the duplex door (but you already know that). It could be several things like; transport rollers, gates, solenoids... well, the best help i can give you is to advise you to call your technical support.
See you!
