I posted the message as Tet Tet before. I can now tell you that I have resolved the problem. The issue is with the Panasonic 50Inch TV. Some people reported the same problem but only when the TV was up on the wall. It turns out that the problem lies with the metal discs which screw on at the back of the TV to enable you to hand the TV on the wall bracket. In my case I had excessive interference caused at the back of the TV (could be the fan). When I put the TV on the wall bracket the metal discs would be in contact with the wall bracket which in turn was acting as an antenna causing the iterference to the bose remote which operates at a frequency of 27.45MHz. You can solve the issue by adding some insulating tape around all the metal discs avoiding them to make contact with the wall bracket. If that fails Panasonic will swap your TV for another one like they did with me. I can now enjoy my Bose System with the 50 inch Panasonic TV. It took me three months but managed to get a solution. I hope this helps. For further info you can mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. These discs should be made of metal because they are perforating the metal screen at the back of the TV. Panasonic please change this design.

You can only Connect a iPod via a iPod dock
Apple iPod Univeral Dock
and use either
Apple Composite AV Cable or Apple Component AV Cable
based on what Output you iPod Allows.
the list of which iPod that is supported is listed on each page of the AV Cables above.
You can use a IR Blaster Cable with the iPod Dock to control the iPod also.

Press the system button on the Lifestyle remote control. Move right to see a preview of the remote control. Press the down button to move into the submenus. Go down to IR Control. Select "on" System receives IR commands from another remote that has been taught to operate this system. Press exit and take a breath and try your Harmony remote. It should work. I had the same problem and this fixed it after hours of screwing around. Good Luck
