Override ink expiration HP c7200

Change the printers clock to an older time - you can do this by typing the IP address of the printer into your browser and then clicking on the Settings Tab and then Time services. Works for HP c7200. You can get the IP address of the printer (if you don't know it) from the menu on the printer.

Hi just try this instructions

Press the on button to turn off the HP All-in-One.

Unplug the power cord from the back of the HP All-in-One.

Unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet and wait for 30 seconds.

Plug the power adapter back into the wall outlet.

Plug the power cord to the back of the HP All-in-One.

Press the on button to turn on the HP All-in-One.

Printer c7200 hp photosmart has new cartridge but will not print and diagnostic said replace following empty ink cartridge

Get your printer little bit serviced...and this problem you are tell about seems to be of the buffer device in the printer it needs to be replaced...

HP C7200 All In One Printer

Try this:
First make sure you are placing the right
color cartridge into the right slot.
Most Printers are touchy about the
installation of ink cartridges. If the
instructions say to press the cartridge
into the slot until you hear a loud click,
that's what they mean. If at first you
don't succeed, remove the cartridge and
reinsert it into the slot again and press
on it hard till it clicks.
Then your printer should work properly.

I just purchased an HP Photosmart C7200 All-in-one printer, loaded the ink cartridges and the screen says the magenta cartridge appears to be missing or damaged. I put in a new cartridge- same message...


If the printer is out of the Box, don not try any other ink cartridges, becoz you must use the HOST ink cartridges that is shipped with the printer for the first time.It seems that it is problem with Host ink cartridge.

You can check the cartridge whether its a Host ink cartridge or normal one by looking at the serial number.If Serial number starts with C9, it Host; if it starts with C8 its normal one.

Only HP can replace it , none of the store sells Host ink cartridges, they sell the replacement ones.
You can either call HP tech support or, return the printer to staples.
