Question about Heating & Cooling
2. when I put the air conditioner into Auto mode and then hit the Temp Sensor on the remote the green light is supposed to flash. Mine turns on for about 3 seconds and then goes away, I have had the temp set at 70 and there are times that the temp gets up to 75 and I have to hit the temp sensor twice to get cooling to work, am I doing something wrong. My unit is a WWK05CR71N Window unit.

SOURCE: cooling fan not working
The fans only run when the engine reaches approxminatly 235 degrees F. on the guage that is near the end of scale just before guage show "HOT" I don't think you have a problem, allot of folks out there don't know about this.

The instructions for installing the sensor will probably included with the new part. Also, when you receive the part and actually see it, you will probably know where it will go. Sometimes, things like this happen even with new units. I have had bad thermocouples on brand new units right from the factory. It happens and unfortunately it happens to us sometimes. Good luck and if you get the part and still have trouble, contact them again. If you would have bought a GE (Rheem) unit, they would have sent a tech out to your house at no cost. I'm not a fan of Whirlpool water heaters.

Anytime the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem or the wiring to them. Nothing else causes this symptom.

Anytime the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem. If the transmitting sensor light is blinking it is bad.

To cancel the timer, press timer on setting until it comes 00.00. Or remove batteries from remote and re fix after few minutes. If still problem persists, check and rectify error code of e-5 as follows:
Comms Error, check your wiring, remove external pumps. Split/Multi - check volts from terminal N to 3 = 0 - 65 Vdc, Multi V - 4 Vdc terminals 3 and 4
