Philips 170b 17" LCD Monitor

My 3 year old monitor has started making ticking and crackling sounds intermittantly. Works OK otherwise but sometimes the screen goes blank for 2-3 seconds when moved on its cantilever mount.
Anybody have any ideas.

GuideDoes the screen go to the top of the page by any chance if so their is a possible cable problem that links your PC to your monitor, to repair this you must take it to a electrical repair shop, its quite a small job and your screen should be back up and running in no time, it happened to my packard bell monitor aswel and i managed to get it repaired.
