the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Where do i get a free manual for a white sewing machine 1866 near Jackson, Mi

Hi! Strange as it may seem you can find free manuals for 19th century White brand sewing machines via the Singer website.

Look under Singer's "Support and Resouces" then select "Instruction manuals" , or follow this link: http://www.singerco.com/support/instruction-manuals

On the Instructions Manual page you'll see it says "Find Your Manual - Step 1, Step 2 etc etc" and under that there's a search box that says "Model Number"

Into this search box just type "w"
(don't type "white", because that doesn't work)

You'll be taken to a near incomprehensible results page and unfortunately the method to finding the manual you need is a case of clicking and opening the PDF manuals.

However may I suggest a couple that may be of use:
"W7treadle"
- this is a manual of White treadle with a "boat" style bobbin shuttle

"WRotary"
- this is a manual of White treadle with a "rotary" style bobbin shuttle

Good luck, and I hope you find what you need :)
Kind regards
Kura

Bottom thread from theh bobbin is in big loops.

Problem with Brother CS-8150 Computerized Sewing Machine
bottom thread from theh bobbin is in big loops.

I have a CS-8150 as well -it was fine until I decided to clean the shuttlecock and I thought I had put it back correctly. However, it was after replacing the shuttlecock in place that my bobbin thread was making big loops and no matter what tension it kept doing it. So I removed everything out of the bobbin area. Cleaned and made sure that the shuttlecock was exactly in place as per the manual. Guess what it does not make big loops any more.
Just a suggestion.

Singer 301a Bobbin troubles

I just had this problem, too - if you have the manual, check out page 15. If you have removed the throat plate, you need to make sure that the position finger on the bobbin case base enters a notch on the underside of the throat plate. Fixed my problem right away.

Hello , i have a 1936 singer without the manual and need advice on how to use it.

Fantastic!!! I love these old Singers. They were built to last forever!! You'll be able to manuals, parts, whatever you need to make this baby shine!
First of all, we need to find out what model you have. Go to http://www.ismacs.net/home.html, Then on the right, scroll down to Machine Gallery. Under Machines, click on Singer. THen, on the left, scroll down to Household Models. Click on the model numbers until you find one that looks like yours. (You can tell that ISMACS has a lot of great information--browse to your hearts content and think about joining!)
Look at the bobbin--that's also a great clue. Is access to the bobbin case from on top? Or on the side? Is the bobbin round or shaped like a bullet?
Lastly, is your machine a treadle, hand-crank, or electric? Model 66 machines were produced as all three, and some machines that were originally treadle or hand crank have been electrified along the way. (And vice-versa---I converted one of my model 66s from electric --British, 220 volts, ca 1930--to hand crank.)
If you have some pictures, post them, ok?

I can't wait to hear back from you.

Singer 4562 t bobbin case won't fit properly, what am I doing wro

Make sure the bobbin case sets sort of on top and not under the ridge of the metal ring. There is a small latch on the upper left of the bobbin case. It is metal. rotate the latch to cover the bobbin case and this should stabilize the case without making it immobile
