Where can I obtain a gear that fits the spindle of the motor in a Sewland overlocking machine?

It's the smallest gear of the gear train. The current one has deteriorated with age and slips on the motor spindle.

Sometimes the clicking noise can come for the developer cartridge or the drum. you can carefully take them out and see if they turn freely.

SOURCE: drive train slipping

Get someone to help--set the brakes and try to drive it. The other person needs to watch what is turning. If it turns into the differential, but nothing happens coming out on either side, then drain the oil out of, and open the cover on the differential. Look at the drive pinion gear (you can run this for a short time without lubrication), is it turning? That will turn the ring gear which turns the differential unit. If one axle turns, but the other side doesn't, look for a broken axle on the side that turns. If the input pinion gear doesn't turn, look for a broken pinion shaft. Hope this helps!

3 years old will more likely to need new set of caps, not all monitors come with built-in speakers. See failed monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
I would not buy a 3 years old 15", save the money for newer and bigger monitor.

Your machine is either not threaded correctly, or the individual threads have not been threaded in order. Be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the machine. You must follow the instructions exactly or the machine will most likely never work properly. Can you at least get a training class on your machine? A class is indispensable, especially when it comes to using a serger.

Even if it is not the same model, these instructions may be helpful.

How to change the big drive gearMakita angle grinder 9557 PB

Remove the bearing, retaining ring and wave washer on top of the spindle. Now you need a press to push the spindle out of the gear and bearing case. There is a very small woodruff key in the spindle, be careful not to lose that. Do not try to drive (hammer) the spindle out, if you mushroom the end even the smallest amount, you'll have to replace the spindle because you'll never get the bearing back on.

The spline has come out of the spindle

Ray, I had a similar problem with mine one time. Your spline and spindle have grooves that fit like gears. Make sure you have right spline and then you may have to lubricate it with vaseline(light coat), and then work the spline back onto the spindle. Make sure the grooves are meshing first then push it on. It should go right in place. Let me know how this does.

MILWAUKEE 4253-1. HOW TO REMOVE THE SPINDLE #47 ON THE PARTS LIST. AFTER THE CHUCK AND GEAR CASE IS REMOVED FROM THE MOTOR.

The spindle is pressed into the bearing in the nose of the gear case. You usually need a hydraulic press to get them out. If the spindle gear, woodruff key and spacer come out easily (it may need a little prying pressure) you may be able to tap the spindle out with a dead blow/rubber hammer or with a piece of wood on the end of the spindle. If you hit the spindle directly with a metal hammer you can mushroom the end and it won't fit in the needle bearing in the service diaphram.

How do you lock spindle on Delta Osillating sander to change sand rolls?

The spindle screw is reverse tread and you need to turn it clockwise to loosen and counter clockwise to tighten the screw. You can usually hold the spindle with your hand then turn the screw clockwise to loosen the screw. Worst case scenario, carefully turn the machine upside down. Place it on a clean supporting surface. Use a flat-head screwdriver or similar device to remove the plastic gear cover to gain access to socket-head screw. Carefully place the machine on its side. Attach the spindle adapter to the motor shaft turning the spindle adapter counter-clockwise on the shaft.
NOTE: Motor shaft has a left-hand thread.
Place a 7/16" open-end wrench on the flats of spindle adapter. Insert a 3/16" hex
wrench into the socket-head screw located where the plastic gear cover was removed.
Hold the hex wrench to prevent the motor shaft from turning. Turn the wrench counter -clock wise to
fasten the spindle adapter on the motor shaft.
Reinstall the plastic gear cover that was removed above.
