On the spring loaded one a metal pin will fit through a hole in the black to keep it in place. Ensure your blade is not broken and has a hole for the pin to go through.

SOURCE: Problems with Bosch T101BR 4 Inch 10 Tooth Jig Saw Blades

Hi, The reason for a down cutting blade is to see your cut on the finished side of laminates ( which include veneers, plywoods, plastics, formica . When using an upcutting blade on laminates the smooth cut is on the bottom, which you can not see till you are done and turn the work over. Reversing the teeth allows that smooth cut to be on the top. This is usually done on smooth flat surfaces as you have found out and does not work with orbital or tight scrolls. As far as the pushing or pulling, smooth cuts in laminates require the saw doing the work at a speed that allows the teeth to cut and remove material with biting. So if you are biting, (This is a much slower process than pushing your jigsaw through regular wood) check that you are not pushing too hard and that your blade is still sharp. Good Luck to you, this should Fixya!

How to complete engine replacement on a Dixon are mower, model number DM 3068671 13 up

Hi Denny:
Seriously, this can be a fun project if you have patience, time, a camera, and a secure place to work.
It will be a learning process.
1) Remove battery
2) Methodically dismantle... stay organized.... take pictures.
3) Reverse process with new motor.
4) Install battery.
5) Test run.
6) Have a beer.
I'm really not kidding. Trying to do a step by step, bolt by bolt procedure would not be relevant.
Like a kid with a wind up alarm clock, you take it apart, and put it back together.
Enlisting the aid of an experienced mechanic friend never hurts.
It's really just a sort of jig-saw puzzle that you have to take apart and then put back together.
Have fun.

DELTA YENONING JIG 34-184 WHY DOESNT FACE COME OVER TO BLADE? I GOT 5 1/2 INCHES FROM BLADE TO SIBE OF MITER SLOT,THAT A NORMAL SLOT OR MINE FARTHER AWAY

That's a normal mitre slot distance.
You may need to re-align the jig depending on whether your saw is a left or right tilting saw.
You can download instructions for your jig that tell you how to do so here.
Otherwise, I can only say that I have had the same question, and can only think that the jig was designed with the idea that you would screw your own backing plate against the face of the jig, to hold pieces in place or back them up as they passed over the blade, and for that reason the face is so far from the blade. (But I think I was using the jig on a powermatic saw at the time.)

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

I have a Ravensburger Puzzle Ball Globe 540 Pces and will like to know how to put the last 5 pieces on

To complete puzzleball, assemble the last 5 pieces together before putting them into the ball itself, and then add them to the rest of the puzzleball. You may find it easier to roll the ball along a flat surface, to help ease the pieces into place.
For more information you can go to ravensburger.com/puzzleball/instructions and they give you a step by step guide on how to complete it
Hope this helps

Sabre saw- craftsman - 17256 - change blades

This saw uses a tool-free blade change. 1. Unplug the jigsaw 2. Place your finger on the lower edge of the see through blade guard, and pull it forward until it locks up in place 3. Lift the tool-free blade change holder (bright yellow piece above the blade), and insert the blade into the slot of the tool-free blade change holder. 4. Release the tool-free blade change holder to lock the blade in place. 5. Pull down on the blade to verify that the blade is securely locked in place. The teeth of the blade should be pointing forward and down. 5. Put the blade guard back down.
You can use with both 'T' & 'U' shanked blades.
Feel free to ask me any other questions about this saw.
