If you intend to use this in a residential garage, you will have to use standard galvanized round pipe coming off the unit, 24 gauge will suffice, use a minimum of 6”-8” from the unit. From there you will have to make the transition to the B-Vent. Always double check with you local codes in your area.

11 is a ignition failure code. Could be alot of things, I suggest calling a tech who has repaired these before. Pull the front cover off and have a helper turn on a hot water faucet. Look thru the viewing window to see if the unit is firing then going out. If not, clean out the water filter on the inlet side of the plumbing. You will need to turn off the water supply prior to cleaning it. If the unit fires but shuts off seconds after ignition, you may have a dirty or bad sensor. Call a proffessional at this point. Sorry
