Sazuki swift 2001 is now missing and runs terrible

there are oxygen sensors on exhaust. at least two pcs on inline engines. one is before catalytic ( pre sensor)converter and one is after.(post) first one is to adjust fuel oxygen mixture.only first one is related to drivability of car. if it is broken. engine stumbles i stalls it fails to start etc. and you can smell terrible unburned fuel at exhaust pipe.

o2 sensors only opeate at specified temperatures that is why it idles better when engine is cold. also sensor is not utilized when you do full throttle.

there may not be any check engine lights on dash yet because of being out of specs only but still operational, does not mean that you may not need a new pre oxygen sensor. (lambda sensor)

Suziki swift has no acceleration from a stop and sometimes it quits altogether. Wanting to know why and what can be done.

Hi Lorain, Sorry for taking so long to answer your question. The defect you're describing could be due to a number of different faults. Your best course of action will be to take the vehicle to a workshop and have a diagnostic scan carried out. That will point the mechanic in the right direction and display what faults need rectifying. Regards Johngee10

Are you sure the smell comes from the washer water and not the air conditioner? If the washer water smells you will smell it strongest on the windscreen on the outside of the car. Check this to be sure you have located the source of the smell.

Commonly smells inside the car come from the air conditioner because there is mould growing on the air filters. These can be taken out and cleaned to get rid of the smell. Look in your user manual for guidance on how to do it.

Terrible smell in washing machine

I used white vinegar in the machine and did a full wash.
I am subsequently not using a softener in the machine as I have found out that this is what caused the smell.
I now use white vinegar instead of softener and this has solved the problem.
