You can buy a transformer which allows all 110v power tools to work from a 240v supply. You will also need to change the plug on the compressor to a yellow 110v type. You can buy transformers for around £25 and around £3 for the plug

SOURCE: compressor working, cooling coils hot, but unit won't cool below

When you say fully charged, did you weigh the refrigerant? These small systems cannot tolerate overcharging by even small amounts because it will result in overpressure on the suction side. If there's too much refrigerant you get hot coils and cool but not cold evaporator. I typically pump the refrigerant into a recovery tank and then weigh it back in to get exactly the amount on the mfg label.

Maytag refrigerator not cooling

You have a new design cooling system the runs on a 230 inverter with a DC compressor. So Check the red and black wire to the inverter for 110 volts or better to it. If you have this voltage, replace the inverter only as it has failed to run the compressor. I hope this helped. Parts number is W10285954, this is not a cheap part but controls the compressor run. Good Luck

Check to see if you have 110 volts at the motor with the compressor running. If you do then your motor is bad - replace it. Also make sure something has not gotten in the fan to keep it from working. The fan must run to keep the compressor cool and from over heating. Be sure to put the back of the refrigerator back on when you are through.

Freezer stoped cooling

Check the relay on the compressor. It sounds like the relay is not kicking on the Compressor like it shorted out. You can check it with a multi meter, it should be 110 volts or more if there is less or if you see a burn mark replace it. They are about 30 dollars at a local appliance shop
