Just a word of caution; the voltages & currents stored in a Television set are enough to kill you!! No joke.

SOURCE: pay tv cable

you may bypass the box by using a straight connector, find the cable that lead to the TV room and connect it to the cable from the aerial antenna.

SOURCE: LCD TV

HD ready does not mean it has a digital tuner.
don't know what TV model you have but any TV with a coaxial connector will receive the analog broadcast. However; if your TV is not equipted with a digital tuner, you will need a set top box when analog broadcasts stop transmitting in Feb.

Here is a cheap and easy way to connect this for you....

Get a VCR (often times can be found at goodwill or garage sales for very cheap) and connect the coax cable from the output of the Converter box to the Antenna/Cable in on the VCR then connect from the RCA output from the VCR to the TV. Tune the VCR to Channel 3 most likely and change channels through the converter box.....

Good Luck and please rate this solution....

Where can I get a wireless LAN adapter for my TV, model number:32D5900?

The WIS9ABGN should work... they're about $170 on amazon.com... the Fenvi n600 should also work. That's only about $50 on amazon - Smart Tv Wireless Adapter for Samsung Tv Instead of Wis09abgn Wis12abgnx - either of those plug into one of the USB ports

You could also use a wireless media adapter like the Linksys WUMC710 - Linksys Wireless AC Universal Media Connector WUMC710 (~$35) - wireless media adapters like that plug into the ethernet port instead of the USB port, and 'look' to the TV just like a hard-wired ethernet connection.

You could also go with a set of Powerline adapters... one connects to the TV's ethernet port, and the other connects to a network switch (e.g. the 4 LAN ports on the typical home router), then they talk to each other at 5GHz to 20GHz through the copper wiring in your home (at those frequencies the signal travels mostly on the outside of the wire, due to "skin effect").
A 'starter set' of those will also cost you about $35.
example - TP LINK TL PA4010KIT AV500 Nano Powerline Adapter Starter Kit up to 500Mbps

My sanyo tv is not finding digital channels

Since a CRT (cathode ray tube) TV is an analogue TV (has a tuner) the only method of watching digital channels is setting it up as a monitor (channel 3 only) and using a cable box that takes digital and broadcasts analogue through the co-axial cable wire.

You can buy an adapter at some electronic stores or a good truck stop. you need a co-axial (regular tv cable) to RCA adapter.

I bought my 2yr old son a daewoo vcr combo tv model # dvq13h1fc and it didn't come with a remote. It does not have a menu button on the tv, so im trying to figure out how I can hook his dvd player up so he...

Many combo tvs are simplified so as to play its own dvds or in this case its own vhs tapes. Never purchase a combo unit unless you wish it to be stand alone. Always look for how many plug-ins are on a tv before you purchase it. The number of plug-ins is a sure way of telling the quality of the tv or any other device. If all you have is a co-axial input then use that to send a signal from a dvd player that has a co-axial in and a co-axial out. Turn the tv to channel 3 to play through a dvd player. Use the remote control from the cable company to change channels on their box and change the volume manually unless you can find a setting for that to change the internal volume in the cable box.

Why does neither the co-axial cable from my DVR Cable box nor the one from my TV fit into the coaxial plug on the Magnavox ZV427MG9 DVD Recorder/VCR Combo ?

Check the coaxial cable connector type. There are two kinds--one that look like the RCA connector that you can just push in.

The other kind has a nut that you have tighten over the coaxial cable connector on the DVD recorder.

TV connection gets very good picture but VCR gets only bad ''grainey'' pic and bad sound. I used RF cables. Will using RCA cables solve the problem? Thanks Guy Daly dalyguy@hotmail.com

You could use 75ohm satalite cable for the RF cables it will give you better signal than the old style co-axial cables most people use. Simply put new co-axial plugs on the new cable and connect that. It will also cut down on electrical intereferance and noise if you use it right up to the antenna. Makes a hell of a difference if you are watching digital TV!
