Question about Proscan Televison & Video
The red and white cables from the DVD should be connected to the RED and WHITE AUDIO connections to your DVD input on the TV. The YELLOW lead from your DVD player should go to the YELLOW VIDEO IN connection for the same DVD input on the TV that you plugged your RED & WHITE leads to. You should then be able to change the input on your TV to whichever DVD connection you used. So if the connection on the back of your TV that you used have DVD beside them, choose the DVD input on your remote. You should then be able to see the DVD play. Hopefully this will help you,

Please post the brand and model of your tv and also the brand and model of the new dvd player.
if you are using audio and video cables, (3 wires red, white, yellow) make sure the tv is set to the right channel when you are trying to play back content from the dvd player, for example Aux, or Av or ex channel.
