I placed a 32gb TF card in my tablet, went to download a app and msg says not enough space. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe nothing at all. Apps, depending on how they are written, may use only internal storage, SD (TF) storage, or a combination of both. If you are getting a "not enough space" message, chances are the app is not TF friendly. Cell phone users have the same issue with apps not wanting to use the internal card storage. Until tablet/phone makers put more internal memory in their devices, or until app writer make their apps available to the extended storage, this problem will continue.

I have a Z796C ZTE phone and whenever I try to download an update or an App, I get a message that states that I have insufficient storage space available. The phone has 1.61G

Well with the information you supplied, it sounds like you have a phone full of pictures, (small files) video clips, (big files) and apps (some small, some huge) and prior to updating your phone you will need to delete enough to install your updates. The 1.61G is what? Empty storage space? Processor ? If you want more help you will have to take the time to actually give more information. Because that phone has 4 GB of built-in storage... Is it new? Is it full of pics, vids and apps or is there an out of the ordinary reason you get the message. Are you installing the app in the correct place?

Storage problem, pop-up stating have not enough storage on my device

Go to Settings/General/Usage to get a better picture of what is taking up space. Even better, plug into a computer with iTunes, bring up the iPad's "page" in iTunes and look at the bar on the bottom-- it's a nice visual, and if you hover your mouse pointer over each colored bar, it tells you the exact amount of storage you are using. If you see a lot of storage being sucked up by "other", try deleting stored text message conversations (especially ones with pictures sent through SMS text messaging or iMessaging).

If you are getting the message on only those two apps, then they might be trying to store a lot of data on the device or they may be just taking up a lot of active memory.

Other ways to free up space would be to delete any apps you aren't using anymore (games you got bored with, etc.), move your pictures to a computer and delete them off the device, and organize your music with iTunes on a computer. If you have a huge music library, try making shorter playlists and rotating them (sync one playlist one week/month, then unsync it and choose a different one to sync) instead of putting the whole thing on your iPad. Anything you can do to free up space will give those apps a chnae to work better

I can't download the latest version.

Sounds like you have maxed out the storage capability of the unit.

If you have a memory card, or don't, you may need to upgrade it.

Why can't I install app. after they are downloaded

What messages are you getting when trying to install? The app is not necessarily installed to the memory card automatically. Check your settings. How much internal storage space does it show? The app might be too big for the space you have left. You could try to free up some space by moving some installed apps to the SD card.

Internal storage and external storage on your sd card are two different things.

Insufficient storage space is message I get when I try to install an ap on my eStar Android 4.2.2 tablet. How to fix this problem ?

You will need to remove apps, pictures, videos that are not wanted any more to free up space on the device. The device storage is full and you must make room for new apps.

Low on phone storage space

low phone storage is due to installing more apps that get stored on phone memory or installing more and more huge data updates for apps. You should move those apps from phone to sdcard in settings section of particular app(But some may not be movable. .that's fine).. you should uninstall updates for apps that you don't use frequently.
Hope this helps :)

I keep getting a message saying that sotrage space is low. However, I hardly have any apps or images on my phone. When i check the Phone storage it states I have 6gb free on the phone and 8gb free on my SD...

Hello.

There is very little internal storage on that phone.
Try clearing the application cache, your email (not gmail) trash folder. Back up your SMS messages and then clear the data to your Dialer Storage app.

Hope this helps.
