Found hinge pin 16910 on http://www.appliancepartspros.com/search.aspx?p=16910
Pricr listed as $4.61

Amazon has the same part for $7.98 & $9 29
I've had this part slowly move out of the mixer. I was able to tap it back into place. It's simple to replace, although I suggest having someone help you by holding the lower gearcase housing. (Top part of the mixer)

Put it upside down on a towel and tighten the hinge pin screw right up inside the pedestal. It's in the middle & retains the hinge pin.

What kind of grease can be used on a stand mixer after replacing a stripped worm gear? model:K45SS

Food grade grease is what Kitchen Aid put into the gearbox originally. They do supply it as a spare part if you cannot find it as a non Kitchen Aid part.

Can the Kitchen aid accessories fit the Wolfgang puck stand mixer

If you happen to have a friendly toolmaker with a small metal lathe it should not be too difficult to modify KITCHEN AID accessories that fit on to the front powwer outlet. However Puck Stand Mixer accessories are occasionaly offered on the Web. Meat grinders are very common and original Puck pasta maker have also been seen. Get searchin'!
