Is there any way to adjust the hydraulic system on the blade for an electronic over hydraulic dozer John Deere just takes a bit of getting used to but it would be nice to be able to tweak it I believe...


sure slow the engine speed down , that will reduce your hydraulic pressure , then when u get used to it you can speed it back up , besides I use the "float" more often on the blade , unless your using it to laser grade

Bleed clutch hydraulic system John Deer 4300 Tractor - year 1998


two of you needed here ,put a big screwdriver into the operating arm and pull it back so the piston goes in ,slacken bleed nipple then helper pushes clutch down -hold it down then tighten nipple .repeat a few times and you will feel pressure on the clutch arm ,now get helper to push pedal down and hold it down ,pull bar to push piston in as it moves you open nipple then close it after a squirt of air comes out and repeat this a few times and it should have a hard pedal

Hydraulic system overheating


check all hydraulic filters and check hydraulic valves. Filters is maybe not good or old, hydraulic valves is damaged or soiled. If your model hawe oil cooler check is it clean out and in!

Where's the hydraulic oil fill for a John Deere 3020? Is it next the seat? What's the hydraulic system oil capacity? What type hydraulic oill would you suggest?


The oil fill cap is just above the oil dipstick at rear of tractor.
the capacity of the system is 4.5 gallons.

Hey, the "round cylinder" is a power steering motor for a John Deere 630. If you start looking for one of those instead, I'll bet you'll have better luck. Deere dealerships tend to not care unless you're buying a half million dollars in equipment.
