How to increase volume on corded speaker phone

Are we talking about an old style phone that you plug into a wall jack. In that case you can only increase the volume as high as the volume control will let you. Going higher may introduce significate feed back (high pitched whine).
If it's the microphone volume you want to increase (sound volume for the other party), that's not possible with out a major hack.
The phone needs to control the speaker volume and the microphone volume, and balance the two so you don't get feedback, yet allow each party to hear the other. This only works within a fixed range, which, if you exceed, will over load the circuit and you will get feedback. You may want to try a different phone, which may have a higher volume.

THE VOLUME DIAL (LARGE ROUND WHEEL) DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. You turn it clockwise to get higher volume, the digital numbers go lower, higher, and not the way it should be. The volume doesn't increase or...

Some tuners denote volume as attenuation so zero means it is at full volume and -20 means it is 20 decibels or 20 percent etc below zero. Essentially, zero means it is not being held back while the higher the number, the higher amount of holding back.

I am not sure what you mean by the volume does not increase or decrease normally so you'll have to ask that one with more details and information to get something more on that issue.

Why does my tuner shut off when the volume is turned up to 40?

does it turn off and then back on repeatedly at higher volumes? if you back the bass off will it allow you to turn it higher? if so i would think your impedance is off causing the amp to overheat or the power requirements for your speakers are way higher than your amp can produce

It want skip lower and higher the volume

I'm having trouble understanding the question.
Are you saying you don't know how or it won't adjust volume?
Volume is changed by rotating your finger around the center disc. Counterclockwise is lower, clockwise is higher. You can get the owner's manual here:

Receiver shuts off when volume raised above 10

A fuse breaker or resetting electronic componet device attaced to the audio receiver protects the amp & speakers for destruction! The quality of the amp ,spkers& spks. wires help on choosing for protection shut downs! Of course at 10 volume you risk all of the amp in the receiver , buy a higher quality brand reciever ,intergrated amp, single amp . BE CAREFUL AT THE HIGHER VOLUME RATINGS YOU RISK HEARING DAMAGE! FOR REAL!

Hey Tex

You are on the right track, sounds like a noisy volume control. Can often be repaired with a squirt of cleaner spray into the potentiometer assembly. But I suggest you use crc2-26 contact lubricant spray, not silicone spray which is a great materials lubricant, but not electrical. Worst case, the Vol Potentiometer, may have to be replaced. Go for the CRC first and see how it goes. Good Luck, happy FixYa
