SOURCE: surebonder 4.8 v cordless stapler

with mine there is a fine spring on the plunger which holds the staples in which i restretch every now and then you could also try checking for jammed staples and putting one or two drops of oil on the shaft that pushes the staples down after the oil operate afew times empty of staples see if this helps bestaluck glenn

SOURCE: My senco SLS18 staple gun seems to miss shooting

Hi,
The driver in the front that pushes the nails into the wood gets bent a bit...
To get to this yoyu need to pop the front open as you would to get a nail jam out... then pull down the driver and get a flat blade screw driver behind it... then push back on the front a bit to spring it so that the bow will hold the front of the driver tight against the slide....then when it comes down it will be sure to hit the nail head square and not slide out and by the nail...

How to put the spring back in the handle of Arrow T50 Stapler?

Ref. recocking the spring handle in your Arrow T 50 Stapler
1. secure the stapler in a vise. You need three hands to recock the handle spring.
2. Using a notched tack lifter hand tool, with one hand holding the handle so as to expose the spring, place the notched tool against the spring arm and force it to the rear. it will now be under tension.
3. Wiggle the handle into position so that you can quickly insert the clevis pin. Once secured, let go your handle that is now under tension. Replace clevis ring.
4. Dry fire to test.

After shooting a staple the driver does not return up into the stapler.

obvious answers are 1. a burr on the striker, 2. a bent striker. 3. a trapped staple 4. a broken return spring. other than that I cant help you without seeing it.

Bostitch Mlll floor stapler drives a staple only on about every third try.

If the tool sounds like it is firing when its struck but its not driving staples, there may be a problem with the feed magazine. Possibly something stuck in the staple slot keeping them from sliding through. Or possible the pusher spring is weak. This spring feeds the staples into the unit.

Stapler will staple ok then it will jamb and break staple in half, and driver will stick but you can put driver back and will run for a short time then has same problem. It also is breaking up staples as it...

It sounds like the gun is working properly but is having feeding problems. First, make sure you are using the proper staples for your gun. Senco makes three versions of the SKS(XP) stapler: The SKS L11-17 drives 18 gauge, 1/4" staples. The SKS M12-17 drives 18 gauge, 3/8" staples. The SKS N12-17 drives 16 guage, 7/16" staples. None of them use staples over 1 1/2" long and each gun will only shoot the staples it is set up for. If you are using the correct staples make sure the rail and nose peices are clean and the feeder shoe and staples are riding freely on the rail and the feeder spring holds them firmly forward in the gun. Lastly check the tip of the driver to make sure it is square, it should not be rounded or have any chips out of it.

WHERE do I open it to refill it??

Located on the end opposite of where the staples come out, there is a spring loaded cap. Push it in toward the base of the stapler and slightly down to release the retaining hook. then let the spring release the pressure rod and pull it out. Connedted to the end of the rod you will see a plunger that is shaped like a short run of staples. Make a mental note of how and where this plunger slides into the base of the stapler. Place a run of staples into the stapler in the same manner that the plunger fits then replace the plunger into the same place following the run of staples. Compress the spring into the stapler and attach the hook as it was. Now you are ready to work.

NOTE: If you cannot compress the spring enough into the stapler you have inserted too many staples, just remove some of the run of staples and try again.

Instruction book for Arrow ETF50P staple gun . lost the instructions and can't figure out how to insert the staples in the gun

Look at the rear of the stapler. Push in then down on the stapler tensioner to release it from the rear of the gun. Slide the tensioner out. Next slide the new staples over the rail and into the gun with points down. Slide the spring tensioner back in and connect it to the stapler by maneuvering its clip down and then up.

I have a tr250 nobody can show the loading part for the stapler.i need parts (no tension on staples)no spring or part that push against staple need part number & price. thank you Doug

I suggest you visit your local hardware store (Ace/Westlake) or you can try EBay, I've found numerous parts at great prices on there and they will usually designate what they will work with. Hope this helps. In the future, remove the material from your gun while keeping it stored, as this will weaken your magazine feed spring.
