Puk=personal unlock key. it is written on the card the sim card comes with when new.
if you don't have the card, you have to phone your network provider, from another phone if yours is locked

Here's what it means:
PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) - If a GSM or GAIT subscriber enters the wrong PIN three times in a row, then the wireless mobile phone is locked until the correct PUK is entered.
What to do:
Call ATT and ask for the PUK code. You will need to verify the account when you call, so if you do have the info (last 4 of the SSN on the acct or the password)
Other option is to bring that to a cellphone repair shop and have it hack on its PUK .
