Estimated value of Gibson L-5 archtop in good condition, label ser #95606, guaranteed

Well, Gibson reused their serial numbers sometimes, causing confusion. It was made in either 1938 or in 1962 - 1964.

If the serial number is seen in the soundhole it is a 1938 model, if on the headstock (the more modern practice) a 1962- 1964 (no closer records were kept for those years).

Depending on condition values the 1938 model at about US$16000 and the 1963 model at US$9500 - $13500.

For a guitar of that value I would get a professional appraisal certificate. Gruhn's does this from photos for a fee

Hi!, I have a les paul electric guitar, and the serial number is 414823, I would know the year of the manufacture, thank you

If the serial number is stamped on the headstock, your guitar was made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA, in 1994 Or 2004

This confusion is due to Gibson having using the same serial number on different models in different years and series.

If the serial number is impressed on the headstock along with 'Made In USA' your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo or Nashville Plant, USA, in 1974 Or 1975.

I bought a used black Fender Stratocaster about 20 years ago with the serial # H 035195 silkscreened on the headstock. At the base of the neck near the body, it has stamped " Made in USA".

I suspect the H is really an N, which would place it.1990-91. As long as the adjustment screw for the truss rod is at the base of the neck. The plugged top end isn't a concern. Your best source of info is to contact Fender customer service directly. Here's the link-

What Epiphone model did I purchase?

Sounds like perhaps a Les Paul Special II, but more detail is needed to say for sure. There was a lot of variation in their Les Paul models. Posting a photo of both sides and the headstock is best.

-Has the guitar any binding, and what colour?
-Is the back of the guitar white or all black?
-Exactly what is on the front of the headstock, 'Epiphone', the 4-diamond logo, anything else?

How do i find serial number?

You don't specify brand or model of the instrument you're asking about, but generally on an electric guitar the serial number will be on the front of the headstock, the back of the headstock, the heel, or the neck mounting plate, as it apppears your's is.

How to operate an acoustic fender electric guitar Fishman tuner

If it's the same as mine, the tuner has a little clothespin clip. You clip that on to your guitar's headstock and turn it around till you can see the screen while picking strings. The tuner picks up vibrations through the headstock and with it's microphone and it tells you what it hears. The little needle tells you the note and if the string you're plucking is below that note, above that note or right on. You have to figure out if you're in the right octave on your own.

How to adjust the neck on a fender jazz bass

depending on the model you will see a place for an allen wrench. it will be either on the end of the neck half way under the body, or most likely at the headstock just under the fret board. Find the correct size allen wrench and turn it about a 1/4 turn at a time. im not sure why your looking to adjust your neck so i cant really say what to look for.
