The simple answer is that you don't. (Part of the clue is in the different name : SD vs SIM.) A phone SIM is essentially a cut-down credit card format with that type of connector. (Not the same protocols etc, though.) But if you truly do want to connect a mobile SIM to a PC, there used to be suitable specialist adaptors to USB available. It's not normally a common requirement, though.
