What is the username and password for the brighthouse ubee
You are able to access some of the modem/router settings using the credentials:
User Name - "user"
Password - "user"
Without the quotes, of course. This will not give you complete access, however, it will allow you to modify a fair amount (not in my opinion) of settings and view various modem/gateway information pages.
Unfortunately, Brighthouse (BHN) is on their game, when it comes to locking certain features/settings from being changed by the consumer. Time Warner Cable (TWC) sold select areas to BHN some time ago. TWC is a bit more open to user changes.
For example, TWC and BHN both supply the modem/router Ubee DDW3611. TWC's supplied unit's configuration can be accessed by the customer through the 'User' account and the 'Admin' account. BHN, on the other hand, only allows the customer to access the configuration through the 'User' account-which limits the available configuration options.
TWC units may be accessed through the 'Admin' account using the following credentials:
User Name - Last 8 characters of the Ubee Modem MAC Address
Password - c0nf1gur3m3
For example: If your Ubee Modem MAC Address is "1C:6D:CB:14:D6:4A"
Your 'Admin' credentials would be:
User Name - CB14D64A
Password - c0nf1gur3m3
It is very unlikely that the aforementioned credentials will work to log in to the 'Admin' account for BHN supplied units. But hey, its worth a shot. Right?
