WHERE Can i get a viewsonic remote?

after bying my second viewsonic remote, that lasted 7 months,the company discontinued my model #.frostrated i've decided to do it my way.i took the remote apart,cut off the rubber push button that was not working,than i cut off another push button that i had no use of and voila' made the switch and my remote is working like new again($free).you should be able to do the same and save yourself a trip to the online expensive betting stores.
